RESPONSIBILITIES

The Asset Management team is responsible for BW Group vessels management activities such as investment/divestment of vessels, identify business opportunities, generate returns through asset play, long term projects and/or forward paper markets as well as supporting other business units in their sales and purchase activities.

A successful candidate would ideally be able to work under time pressure, attention to detail for reviewing and negotiating contracts and good business acumen.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse market trends to identify investment / divestment opportunities
• Support the evaluation of investment/divestment decisions through quantitative and qualitative analysis as part of the proposal process
• In collaboration with the Strategy & Corporate Development, support the analysis and identification of new opportunities within the shipping sector
• Support the compilation of Board papers and/or proposals for Board recommendations
• Participate in the negotiations for ship Sale & Purchase and Newbuilding contracts
• Liaise, network and build relationships with business counterparties, charterers and shipbrokers to gather relevant market intelligence and generate deal flow
• Administration of existing contracts/agreements
• Maintain and update databases (S&P and MDM)
• Assist and responsible for sending out routine reports
• Monitor and update FFA positions as and when required.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
• Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the workflow process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures
• Process timely and accurate invoices through IMOS for BW Dry Cargo
• Liaise with external parties on operational and technical matters on BW Dry Cargo fleet
• Actively participate and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of BW Asset Management procedures and processes, including keeping alignment between practice and documentation in QMS

About the Role

What You Will Be Doing

Working closely with the Head (Entrepreneurship), you will develop and conduct entrepreneurship programmes and initiatives.

• Perform gap-analysis on knowledge and skills gaps for entrepreneurial students with special needs

The Part-time Monitor/Teacher's Assistant supports the classroom teacher in the delivery of quality teaching and learning to all students through administrative support, maintenance of classroom organisation and procedures, emotional support to students, communicating with teachers and adhering to school’s policies and procedures. The National University of Singapore invites exceptional candidates to apply for a tenure-track (Assistant Professor) position in Theatre and Performance Studies, to commence in July 2025 or shortly thereafter. Theatre and Performance Studies scholars of all research specializations are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to candidates who can expand our current portfolio of teaching and research expertise (see our faculty profiles here). We seek scholars with strong publication records in leading journals and university presses who are also accomplished educators capable of teaching across multiple levels, from introductory courses for non-majors to graduate seminars, and who can develop interdisciplinary connections between theatre/performance and other fields.

Salaries are internationally competitive, with benefits including subsidized housing. The teaching load is 2:1 (one or two courses per semester, totaling three per academic year).

Job Description

The Bed Management Unit (BMU) coordinates and provides efficient and clinically appropriate ward placement of all patients entering or within the National University Hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing bed allocation services and administrative duties in BMU
• Perform bed allocation duties with SAP and other systems, complying to a set of rules and priorities as established by the hospital, and assignment of beds to patients shall be in accordance to patients' needs and choice where possible
• To be able to identify potential bed tight situation and activate bed tight measures
• Coordinate patient movement with wards and other departments based on bed status
• Answer phone calls to handle bed enquiries and respond to or follow up on bed/transfer requests
• To assist in the preparation of management reports and provide statistics as and when required
• Ad-Hoc writing of reports and statistics
• Offer emotional support and help patients cope with their illnesses
• Any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline
• Possess minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare
