As a Senior Assistant Manager, Academic, you will play an important role in ensuring the seamless execution of postgraduate programs at NTU. You will be tasked to produce proposals, working closely with admissions, and follow up with collaborations with partner universities. You will take direction and support the Deputy Director and contribute directly to maintaining the university's academic excellence and ensuring the university remains at the forefront of academic innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the review and approval process for new postgraduate programs, ensuring alignment with academic standards, market demand, and resource availability.
• Act as a liaison between the department and Schools, fostering clear communication, addressing concerns, and providing guidance on non-curricular changes and proposals.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement within postgraduate administration.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partner universities to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in postgraduate administration; managing program proposals and approvals.
• Exceptional analytical and evaluative skills; assess program viability, market demand, and resource requirements; ensure informed decision-making in postgraduate program management.
• Familiarity with higher education policies and accreditation requirements; broader understanding of the regulatory landscape in which postgraduate programs operate.
• While not mandatory, a certification in project management would be advantageous, effective organizational and project management skills in handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Support the Logistics Manager/Assistant Logistics Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse.
• Oversee the movement and storage of goods in the warehouse.
• Ensure the smooth flow of goods within the facility, from receiving to storing.
• Coordinate production, sales, and warehouse stock requests, such as transfers.
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
• Schedule drivers and warehouse staff for local deliveries.
• Maintain updated records of orders and suppliers.
• Responsible for stocking shelves, organizing cartons, and conducting inventory counts.
• Responsible for all routine vehicle maintenance of the delivery truck and forklift.
• Issue documents for local deliveries.
• Oversee all warehouse packing administration and documentation on SAP software. Update monthly packing details.
• Manage workers' uniforms, safety shoes, and other necessary items.
• Develop warehouse safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and ISO standards.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or the management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be willing to work in Tuas.
• Good Command of English and Mandarin (to liaise with colleagues and external vendors).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Experience in SAP software is an added advantage.

HR Assistant ($2500 - $3000)

• Ensure that employee records are up to date and regularly maintained in the databases.
• Assist in any other ad-hoc HR projects / events when assigned.
• Full spectrum of employees and Foreign Workers Administration which includes work pass application/termination/Security Bond purchase, arrangement accommodation
• Assist with training & development (e.g. sourcing of courses, course registration, update of training records etc.)
• Assist in payroll processing leave management & CPF submission.
