Cadet Management

• PIC of all matters related to Cadets.
• Annual Cadet budget forecasting.
• Cadet count and status forecasting (currently 6 nationalities).
• End to end recruitment.
• Planning of assignments for cadets and pre-embarkation briefings.

• Weekly meeting with Crew Managers on overdue crew status and operational updates.
• Monthly meeting with crew managers for Officer’s rotational planning.
• Monthly checking of Crew Manager’s KPI.
• Scanning and sending MPA CoE.
• Approving of travel invoices.
• Managing Travel Agents:

1. PIC to Crew Managers on issues and feedbacks from the Travel Agents (currently 2 travel agents);
2. Managing and implementing the change to new Travel Agents and Integration of travel portal in CMS;
3. Training and implementation of travel portal for travel booking to Crew Managers;

Requirements:

Education, Knowledge & Working Experience

Responsibilities:

a. To receive all inquiries, take note of the caller’s particulars such as name, position, Company, telephone and facsimile numbers, and other relevant details for subsequent follow-up by sales staff.

b. To assist in preparing proposals based on verbal or written information provided by the Sales and Marketing staff.

c. To prepare invoices, monthly reports for consolidated billing.

d. To maintain and upkeep the filing system and SWM software on all aspects of waste information.

e. To assist Customer Service Manager to ensure smooth daily operational in the team.

f. To assist Customer Service Manager and Director – Sales in matters relating to customer care (feedback and complaints), collate market intelligence and marketing communications.

g. To update customer database in respect of customers and potential customers.

h. To coordinate with the various departments, i.e. logistic and operations dept to ensure customers’ requirements are met.

Job requirement

• Diploma holder and above
• At least one year Customer Service experience (MUST)
• Adaptability, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Good communication skills and pleasant personality

Responsibilities:

· Possess an existing client base and develop and implement marketing activities to bring in new customers and service existing customer relationships

· Keep abreast of global oil/energy market movements and conduct research and analysis of markets, monitor demands and supply of the bunker supply to identify business opportunities

· Have a sound understanding of the International Bunker business (Ports / Suppliers / Owners / Charterers / Regulations)

· Knowledge of the oil market and marine fuel pricing strategies, and knowledge of the maritime shipping industry

· Develop effective marketing materials to promote service and value proposition to new and existing customers

· Manage customer portfolio with direct responsibility for negotiating and executing sales transactions -- from quoting, negotiating, confirming, delivery, and post-delivery service and support

· Monitor customer utilization of company credit lines, payment performance, and assist with collections if necessary

· Manage any disputes or claims resolution in the event of any disagreements/claims

· Assist with development of junior staff and trainees

· Closely follow the companies group policies and procedures

Requirements:

· Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification

· Minimum 2 years and above in similar capacity of Sales/Marketing

· Candidates with a background in oil and gas industry will be an added advantage

· Good written and oral communication and strong persuasion skills; demonstrate ability to express ideas clearly

· Strong Analytical Skills

· Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

· Strong organization skills and have excellent follow up skills

· Proficient in MS Office

· Fluent in English and Mandarin, proficiency in other languages would be an added advantage

Main Responsibilities

• Perform order fulfilment including order entry, order tracking and follow up on billings.
• Liaise with forwarders and third party logistics providers.
