JOB PURPOSE:

Create and prepare SMT placement programs based on CAD data / machine data available. Coordinate with suppliers in fabricating of solder paste stencil making and testing. SMT machines process improvement such as optimizing or balance the loading of each SMT machine placement. Conduct trouble shooting / repair / maintenance and improvement. Fabrication of jigs and fixtures for SMT production.

NATURE & SCOPE:

1) Programming of all SMT devices mounting data XY co-ordinates.

2) Request for CAD data, Gerber data, merge date & etc. and prepare the metal mask stencil

3) Prepare loading list and layout list.

4) Optimizing / balance the loading of each SMT machine placement to reduce machine placement loss time.

5) Troubleshooting of SMT machines

6) Plan and conduct periodic preventive maintenance of all SMT equipment and machines

7) Conduct process improvement base of New Yokogawa Production System (NYPS) concepts, on Quality, in-time delivery to the next process and at a competitive cost.

8) Participate in companywide improvement programs, such as small group activities (QC Circle) and Production enhancement through New Yokogawa Production System (NYPS)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1) Provides timely support to SMT line and ensure problems are solved

2) Recommend improvement to SMT line and machines for quality output and better yield

3) Provide proper training to operators on machine operation and new procedures adapted

4) Evaluate and check with vendors on SMT jigs, cassettes, equipment, materials & etc

5) Ensure proper programming of data for SMT machines

Optimize the SMT Machine placement to achieve the highest output

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT:

a) Qualification:

Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical with 2 years working experience in SMT production

b) Knowledge:

Good understanding of SMT production/process and machine

Good problem analytical power

Able to work independently

Job Description:

• Support department GM to collaborate with Headquarter in formulating project development strategies for metrology products in Singapore and Malaysia to align to organizational strategy and capitalise on potential project opportunities
• Manage and drive team collaboration with internal and external project stakeholders, endorse project deliverables to optimise project efficiency and performance
• Establish service delivery system in Malaysia and lead cross-functional integration on operations with Singapore team.
• Formulate strategies to optimise customer’s maintenance plans and schedules for inspection, testing, repair and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems to minimise downtime and costs
• Manage and review regular service reports to evaluate impact of trends, and potential malfunctions and solutions.
• Support pre and post sales initiatives and drive customer renewals through exceptional service
• Manage departmental plans aligned to organisational strategies and frameworks to drive compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
• Manage continuous improvement and change management initiatives for time, cost and quality improvements
• Provide technical training on equipment and systems maintenance for new or complex equipment and systems and development opportunity to engineers
• Conduct regular communication with Japan’s factory and project team in Headquarter for project development and planning

Requirements:

• At least 15 years of engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry will be advantages.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Software proficiencies for Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Overseas travel is required.

Working Location: East - Bedok North (Nearest MRT: Simei)

Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 6 pm)

Salary Package: $1600 to $2400

Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities

Oversee all project activities, including cost management, project schedule, staff development, site safety and security.

• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the projects and exercise a high level of independent judgment in the conduct of business responsibility with minimal supervision.
• Develop and submit progress status reports tracking work progress and cost, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Responsible for project planning, quality control, risk management for project and site supervision
• Ensure site safety and prepare safe work procedure with Safety personnel
• Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors etc
• Ensure the smooth completion of the project

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Independent, good analytical and interpersonal skills
• Only Singaporeans will be considered
