• Executes and completes the FPSO new built Hull project as per contractual specification and quality standard with agreed timeline and safely
• Enforces on HSE Focus IOGP/HIRA/GOLDEN Rule, Safety audit, Safety Campaigns and Drills. Weekly HSE walkthrough to focus on critical work area and carryout engagement of workforce on site.
• Oversees new build specifications, verifies designs, and ensures that the construction activities are complying to contract and engineering designs.
• Reviews construction progress against Project Schedule and report to the Hull delivery manager
• Ensures that all construction and installations to FPSO are performed according to project Quality control, NDE examiners, inspection, QA/QC document, report, and quality analysis -
• Ensures the new built hull is constructed according the latest revision of the issued drawings.
• Oversees hull fabrication and assembly works. To follow through the integration scope of work for module fabrication from overseas
• Ensures that the hull is commissioned as per project commissioning requirement
• Conducts daily/weekly/monthly meeting with shipyard (Builder), Client, Classification and etc
• Summarizes and issues minutes of Meeting, Presentation slide and reports (daily, weekly, and monthly)

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of Shipyard Operations will be an added advantage

The Services required are set as follows:

• Administer pre-qualification form for new suppliers/vendors and capability to develop new suppliers from low cost countries/regions for cost-cut improvement opportunities for sustainable advantages
• Identify purchasing risks and concerns, upkeep the approved vendor list, administer intercompany sales /transfer pricing and assist in distributorship & logistics services
• Coordinate with project personnel on project procurement activities, ensuring budget are well-controlled while meeting delivery lead-time requirements.
• Develop and maintain accurate and complete database / procurement documentation records that can be used to monitor status and of all orders along with cost history (from system), actual vs budgeted cost, to support costing activities in the tender stage and follow through in the execution phase & enquiries.
• Prepares and update monthly reports on purchasing activities.

As an Assistant Business Development Manager, you will engage with companies, SMEs, start-ups to evangelize the use of ROS-Industrial for their robotic solution and build the robotic ecosystem both in Singapore and in Asia Pacific. You will lead a portfolio of industry accounts? relationships, translate industry requirements into technology implementation, and oversee technical project delivery to ensure total customer satisfaction.

The role includes:

• Build, maintain and foster relationships with new and existing members to develop the robotics ecosystem partnerships.
• Full ownership of the assigned members and have an intimate understanding of the members? innovation roadmap by closely working with the members to identify area of growth, develop collaboration blueprint, and execute accordingly.
• Working closely with different departments, such as program office, PMO, HQ and technical groups to bring the most value for the clients
• Lead project pursuits, develop business case by implementing consultative selling and subsequently bring in the relevant resources
• Formulate and negotiate business contract to ensure that the collaboration agreement met clients and organization needs in adherence to A*STAR standards and guidelines
• Identify the right funding mechanism to develop and grow department technologies via proof-of-concept / proof-of-value projects, fundings proposal, or joint-collaboration projects.
• Lead, support, and facilitate marketing activities and outreach events (company visits, startup challenge, workshops, digital marketing and newsletters, marketing materials, exhibitions, and presentations
• Drive relevant business modeling, forecasting, portfolio planning and success measure validation

Job requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Channel Partner Management or Sales in automation or service robot industry. Prior experience in technical sales, product / project management, cloud computing, digital technology or robotics would be an added advantage
• Bachelors in Engineering or IT. Masters in Business Administration or similar will be an added advantage.
• Self-starter with innate motivation to drive business and innovation forward
• Proficient acumen in legal and contract negotiation

• Prior experience in conceptualising ideas from ideation to POC/pilot would be an added advantage

• Coordinate with the company secretary to lodge and file the document to the relevant Government authority.
• Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role
