Responsible for managing and developing a defined portfolio of corporate clients (primarily focusing in the South Asia market, particularly in India) within the large corporate and conglomerate segment, in accordance to the Branch’s business strategy and risk appetite (including but not limited to credit, financial crime, operational).

Responsibilities

• An individual contributor managing a portfolio of South Asia corporate clients particularly within the large corporate and conglomerate in India.
• Scope of duties would primarily be the provision of banking relationship management to a portfolio of South Asia corporate clients in India, which includes but not limited to corporate finance, risk management advice and end-to-end delivery of banking services, transactional products, financing (domestic and cross-border), trade working capital, treasury and hedging solutions.
• Expected to be tuned in to the changes in business landscapes and be able to execute or devise appropriate business growth strategies in India to drive optimum business performance.
• Work closely with Branch's and HO's stakeholders to ensure we are in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirement.

Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Business, Accountancy, Banking & Finance or a relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Banking
• Ability to excel under pressure and possess a positive attitude
• Proficient in spoken and written English (Chinese speaking candidates will be an added advantage)
• Frequent business travels to South Asia (India) is expected
• Candidates with CSD - Origination experience / background will be an added advantage and will be considered favorably

What to Expect:

• Accountable for day-to-day operational activities to ensure optimum system performance and determine the system strategy for business continuity.
• Review, implement and uphold the effective implementation of IT policies and operations protocols within the supported platforms.
• Lead an Operations Engineer to work with appointed service providers and stakeholders in delivering operational objectives. This includes data transfers, installation of codes & libraries, tech support to users and vetting of models & algorithms.
• Review and ensuring backup solution for data and system are in place.
• Responsible for ensuring data pipeline in operational state and ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Manage application/platform and security incidents, work with various internal teams and vendors to resolve issues on a timely basis to meet SLA, escalating to higher management if necessary. Reporting of incidents, short and long term incident resolution plans at appropriate forums.
• Ensure that Standard Operation Processes (SOPs) are properly documented and complies with audit requirements.

As Technical Support Manager, you need to bring to the team:

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or in relevant disciplines.
• At least 6 years of working experience in Cloud-based services, IT operations and vendor management.
• Formal AWS Certification - AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate.
• Proactive and dedicated individual with strong leadership, and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide array of people at both junior and senior levels.
• Experience in data analytics systems will be highly regarded.
• Experience in running incident, problem, and change management processes.

Candidates with work experience on any of the following will be considered favourably:

• Familiarity and/or related experience in ITIL framework. – incident, problem and change management, service transition.
• Familiarity with security and access control measures to control privileged access to test and production environment.
• Experience in networking technologies such as WAN, LAN, Network Security, Firewall rules, Load Balancers, VPNs and DNS.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, system backup and restoration.
• Experience with cloud-based services (e.g. AWS, Azure) and project management tools (e.g. Atlassian, JIRA).
• Experience with setting up and or running operations for research projects, and machine learning platforms will be an advantage.

Summary of Position

This role is directly responsible for the overall Project Logistics for PSA BDP in Singapore and the region. The position is required to have immediate focus in the execution for PSA BDP’s project business and work. The role is also primarily required to have Project related vendor development, procurement, tender preparation, method statement development and other operational functions.

Scope of work & Responsibilities

• Relationship building with the existing projects in the region.

• Work with MD, Regional Directors and Country Directors to align the operational requirement for project execution.

• Completion of RFP Proposal by collaboratively working with legal, compliance and finance teams.

• Work with approved vendors and contractors on costs, mainly heavy lifts, transportation and out of gauge- OOG/projects cargo.

• Provide Cost Estimates/Quotation to customers, PSA BDP colleagues and overseas PSA BDP offices mainly on projects or OOG cargoes movements.

• Conduct site surveys in accordance with the HSEQ requirements ie: Risk Assessment.

• Attend to operations at Port and Site Locations

• Follow up on outstanding payments.

• Achieve and maintain various documentation KPIs.

• Development of Projects- specific vendors in requirement with the type of projects in the region and participate in various corporate initiatives

• Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Projects / Oil and Gas Logistics business development and operations in the Region, preferably in a managerial position.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Project Management.

• Working knowledge of projects, HSE, Compliance, and Documentations.

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrate ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the Regional management team.

• Ability to deal with complexities across multiple geographies and cultures

Key Responsibilities:

You will play a crucial role in driving our growth in the region. The person in this role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within their assigned accounts/countries. You will also work on building relationships with important decision makers in order to keep them updated on pricing, product information, solving problems, services offered, and general business matters.

Sales Performance: Take ownership of booking number and revenue targets, driving overall sales performance, and expanding our customer base across Asia for the assigned countries.

Strategic Planning: Implement strategic sales plan aligned with the Managing Director’s vision, with a specific emphasis on the “industrial segment” within targeted countries. Formulate and implement a regional sales strategy aimed at achieving revenue goals and fostering market expansion.

Partnerships: Identify and appoint new partners (Distributors/Enterprise Account/ Strategic Account). Manage the evaluation, selection, onboarding, and negotiation of Distributors, ensuring a smooth and proactive partnership. Administer and rationalize Distributor/BAF agreements post-acquisition.

Sales Optimization: Collaborate closely with our Distributors to plan, implement, and optimize sales activities. Your goal is to exceed objectives in terms of profit, market share, and sales turnover.

Collaboration: Work closely with our Marketing team to plan and execute activities aimed at boosting sales. Maintain Salesforce data for reliable data retrieval. Conduct internal coordination with Customer Service and product team to support our Distributors/Enterprise/Strategic Accounts in the region.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a strong hunting mentality, with a drive to proactively seek out and close new business opportunities
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Engineering or equivalent related course.
• 5+ years of sales/commercial experience in the regional distribution of “Industrial products” through dealer/ distributor network.
