ADVANCE-ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focussed on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. Responsibilities

Clinical Board:

• Provide secretariat support for Clinical Board meetings.
• Compile papers and presentations for circulation to members.
• Attend meetings and record minutes.
• Submit minutes for review, amendment, and approval.
• Maintain a register of outstanding matters and engage stakeholders to ensure actions are taken.
• Research and draft strategic papers and presentations for the Clinical Board.

Strategic Committees:

• Provide secretariat support to strategic committees, including the Clinical Governance Committee, Clinical Services Development Committee, and Clinical Manpower Planning Committee.
• Lead the preparation of discussion papers and presentations.
• Provide administrative support, including managing appointments, scheduling meetings, and setting agendas.

Clinical Board Committees and Workgroups:

• Lead administrative support for committees and workgroups.
• Prepare discussion papers and presentations.
• Review and standardize administrative and clinical governance policies to ensure consistency in patient-centered and evidence-based care.

Project Management:

• Assist with special projects as directed by the Chair or Assistant Director.
• Develop and implement plans to meet project requirements.

Senior Assistant Manager, Group Biomedical Engineering (GBME)

Overview and purpose of the position:

Reporting to HOD, the incumbent will be responsible in managing the manpower and resource arrangement for Group Biomedical Engineering (BME) department. This ensures Group BME staff are well trained and resources are available to provide safe and reliable medical equipment to all patient care areas across NUHS campuses.
