Objectives of the Position

We are looking for an experienced digital manager with a strong project and portfolio management skills, technical enterprise architecture and vendor management background, to continuously optimize IT landscape of BASF Agricultural Solutions Asia team. In charge of mapping out consolidated business needs, capabilities into global IT portfolio and define region-specific portfolio roadmap to constantly optimize IT total cost of ownership. You will be an integral part of regional digital excellence unit in Agricultural Solutions Asia, and at the same time reporting functionally to the Head of Global Agricultural Solutions IT Portfolio Group.

Main Tasks

• Manage existing vendors to ensure smooth and optimized service level delivery, working closely with procurement and contract management team.
• Accountable for all Agricultural Solutions Asia IT & Digital solutions (also referred to as digital product family), with respect to strategic development, business outcomes & budgeting, in full alignment with regional business needs
• Prepare, define & position business-driven, forward-thinking and compliant regional Digital solution roadmap (also referred to as digital product family roadmap) as an integral part of global roadmap, collaborating closely with Enterprise Architect team.
• Responsible for business partnership, demand management & prioritization prior to Digital investment portfolio board prioritization, manage & steer project approval process in the region, with full global alignmen
• Responsible for steering and leading a community practice of digital product owners in Asia, disseminating best practices, use digital as enabler to drive efficiencies and synergies across countries
• Provide an overview of existing digital solutions within the team and maintain the life cycle of the solutions with quantifiable KPIs of progress and business impact (in collaboration with defined digital product owners)

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science / or Business Technology related discipline
• Minimum 10 years professional experience in related field.
• IT enterprise & data architecture design spanning multiple platforms.
• Platform implementation, and enterprise-grade data management practices (technical security, data governance and compliance practices)
• Agile methodology & scrum & devops approach in MNC setup, has prior experience as a ‘Scrum Master’, ‘product owner’ or ‘developer’

• Preparation of Audit Confirmation - Supplier (PO) and Sundry expenses (creditor with PO, salary, transfer fund, GST etc)
• Matching PO/DO/supplier invoice (Oracle system) - Supplier Invoice with PO (checking quantity & initial prices and total)
• Data entries for sundry and ad-hoc invoice & payment
• Preparation of payment voucher in Oracle system - Supplier (PO) and Sundry expenses (creditor with PO, salary, transfer fund, GST etc)
• Ensure all payment offset with debtors invoices (back charges invoices) - Supplier (PO) and Sundry expenses (creditor with PO, salary, transfer fund, GST etc)

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Involved in systems configuration, production support, system accesses, systems monitoring, backups, patching and daily health checks.
• Provide support for mission critical systems including follow up / corrective actions for production issues and defects.
