JOB DECRIPTION

• Contribute to create the unconstrained demand plan on a specific perimeter and horizon
• Use forecast accuracy metrics to draw insights and make recommendations on forecasting modes mix optimization
• Identify biases in forecasting methods (Stat Forecast, Delfor, Backlog, etc.) and engage stakeholders to drive continuous improvements actions (Sales Org., Data Science Team)
• Develop a strong understanding of demand drivers on the short term (Demand Sensing) by continuously collaborating with market, customer, and product experts and identifying relevant data sources
• Perform week over week variance analysis and document key assumptions
• Continuously monitor forecast accuracy metrics to draw insights and make recommendations on forecasting modes performance and mix optimization
• Challenge structural root causes pertaining to each forecasting methods using data analytics : Delfor bias, Backlog volatility or coverage within frozen window, biz model applicability, etc.
• Work with Data Science team to guide the development of explorative analytics and statistical forecast models (e.g., providing clear targets, identifying potential drivers/biases)
• Interface with Sales Unit in the region and Group/Central Supply chain team to analyze gaps at executional level vs plan (forecast did not materialize, unconstrained demand not fully served, etc. )

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a Business Analyst / QA to join our Core Banking IT department which is in charge of developing and maintaining the International Back Office Cash Management System of CACIB. This information system is deployed in 25 business units all around the world. The system has multiple modules to manage reference data, commercial back office functions (payments, remittances, loans, deposits, guarantees, letters of credit …), accounting, management control and credit risk monitoring. The system caters to local regulatory reporting needs and head office reporting, based on a data warehouse.

The candidate will be in charge of analyzing the requirements, writing specifications & test scenarios/cases, maintaining and building the payment system of the bank. The role will focus primarily on functional analysis and quality assurance of the build and delivery required for the evolutions of the in-house or vendor’s solution.

Main responsibilities

• Executing Business Analysis best practices and Engagement of Stakeholders across Front-to-Back functions.
