About the LightSPAN Research Group

The collaborative project is led by Prof. Dr. Manuel Spitschan (TUMCREATE/TUM) and Asst. Prof. Raymond Najjar (NUS). The focus of the work performed as part of this position is a clinical trial investigating the use of cutting-edge behavioural digital-health interventions to promote healthy light exposure in ageing.

Job Purpose/Objective of the Position:

As the coordinator in the LightSPAN Project, you will play a pivotal role in the successful coordination and execution of a study on optimising light exposure in senior citizens. Regulatory/Legislative Statutory Compliance

· 100% compliance with International Maritime Organisation (IMO), Flag State and Port State rules and regulations

· Maintenance of ship certificate and survey status at all times keeping track of renewals and placement on board vessels.

Financial Management

· Maintain, monitor and report budgets for all vessels under charge. Work closely with Technical staff, purchasing and finance controllers to ensure budget is within the agreed variables/targets *(current target 3% variance)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above. At least 10 years of relevant HR or management consulting experiences in people management and strategy
• At least 2 years of experiences in Key/Critical Talent Strategies (Key Talent Engagement, Development and succession planning)
• Experience in leading organization-wide talent management/transformation strategy, planning and executions at regional/global level is required
• Analytical with strong project management and execution skills. Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive work attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment
