Formerly Very Special Arts Singapore, ART:DIS, established in 1993, is a non-profit dedicated to enhancing learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities (PwDs) through the arts. Our diverse programmes nurture the artistic interests of PwDs, bolstering their self-confidence and integrating them into a supportive community beyond formal education.

Our professional development pathways ensure sustainable impact, offering valuable work experience to empower PwDs for independent living. We run 3 centres in the community, and serve over 700 individuals annually through the 27 programmes we organise.

Role Overview

This role specifically focuses on growing livelihood opportunities for our artists with disabilities, mainly in the arts & design vocation track. This includes facilitating commissioned artwork, sale of artwork license to businesses, development and retail of art merchandise, organising corporate workshops amongst other business opportunities.

The role will report directly to the Executive Director, and requires the individual to work with independence and confidence to manage corporate and government contracts.

The individual will also be responsible for the growth of ARTDIS Studio (www.artdis-studio.com) as it aims to generate sustainable income livelihoods for the artists.

• Implement a sustainable business plan encompassing the following areas:
  • Sale of artworks and artworks licenses;
  • Sales of merchandise (www.artdis-studio.com)
  • Commission artworks;
  • Corporate Workshops;
• Account manage existing partnerships with government agencies, corporates and individuals, families and grow new leads.

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or related disciplines;
• At least of 10 years experience preferably working in a Data Centre Operations environment in the area of Output Report Distribution and Print Operations;
• Possess an in-depth understanding of network, database, and Windows platforms relating to Output Management system;
• Knowledge in Windows infrastructure and other technologies like Active Directory (AD), Domain Name Servers (DNS), MS Clustering, MS SQL;
• Knowledge in Tomcat and Internet Information Services (IIS) application and web server components;

Responsibilities

• Perform administration functions on the different Output Management systems;
• Perform 24x7 on-call support for trouble shooting and problem determination on Output related incidents and problems;
• Monitor the daily operational procedure for the printing/enveloping vendor;
• Liaise and coordinate Output Management requirements to the different stakeholders including users and printing/enveloping vendors;
• Set standards and streamline processes to ensure smooth report publishing and print operations;
• Participate in audit and compliance reviews;
• Identify solutions to drive automation and elimination of repetitive tasks and manual interventions;
• Develop and maintain existing scripts and programs to automate operational processes;
• Continually improve the end to end infrastructure design and flow of the system and process;

Responsibilities:
- Technical Design Validation. Responsibilities include assisting the Programme/Project Manager with validation of proposed solution, ensuring users requirement are captured in the solution and proposing counter solutions that would be beneficious .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support the Shared Service Team to generate invoices and ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and issuance on a timely basis.
• Assist Finance with customer account reconciliations for discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on reports requirement and other related and relevant information in carrying out the job.
