We are looking to hire a Scrum Master / Product Owner to support our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank.

Responsibilities:

• Define, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals for front-office Equities technology.
• Act as Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Engage with front-office traders, portfolio managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and manage the product backlog to ensure development readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, and DevOps, to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency within agile teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage risks related to equities application development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Product Manager, with specific experience in Equities applications within an investment banking front-office environment.
• Strong knowledge of equities trading workflows and front-office technology systems.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Equities applications, trading platforms, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, FIX protocol, messaging systems (e.g., Solace), and data analytics platforms.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred.

• Strong hands-on experience with using and designing VMware solution such as NSX-T, vRealize Suite, vSphere/vCenter is mandatory.
• Strong working experience on patch management for operating systems and middleware is mandatory. Eg, Windows, RedHat, Websphere, Weblogic, MSSQL etc.
• Hands-on experience with the creation and maintenance of VMware server templating/blueprints such as RedHat, Windows server templates.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, orchestration, configuration management and provisioning tools is mandatory.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
• Strong experience in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)environment with strong appreciation of change/version control processes and methodologies.
• Worked with DevOps and Automation tools (E.g. Selenium, SOAPUI, Bamboo, Jenkins, Ansible, Marvin, Github, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jira, Confluence, etc).
• Must code, debug and optimize code and automate mundane tasks.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Batch, Powershell, YAML etc.
• Experience implementing distributed solutions in a secured multi-tier heterogeneous environment is mandatory.
