Key Responsibilities:
Ā· Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost plans.
Ā· Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Ā· Evaluate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, including preparation and negotiation.
Ā· Oversee and ensure accurate and timely submission of interim valuations and final accounts.
Ā· Conduct cost value reconciliation and forecasting.
Ā· Provide financial progress reports to management and stakeholders.
Ā· Assess, value, and negotiate variations and change orders.
Ā· Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Ā· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve project objectives.
Ā· Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors and other team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ā· Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Ā· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3 years in structural steel projects.
Ā· Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control procedures.
Ā· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ā· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ā· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ā· Short notice will be preferred.
