Responsibilities:
ยท Support tech/design/production team to source for new vendors, parts, and materials
ยท Budget and plan purchases according to delivery timeline with sales team
ยท Process order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
ยท Track and follow up on incoming purchases, inspection on product quantity, condition and liaise with vendors on RMAs when required
ยท Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues as they arise
ยท Maintain all documents relating to supply chain process in accordance with the companyโs quality requirements
ยท Communicate informed risks within the business to key stakeholders
ยท Ensure accurate documentations and records on all inventory movement in and out of the internal and external storage facilities. This involves timely updating and reporting of inventory movements in the inventory system in accordance to company's guidelines, processes and policies
ยท Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
ยท Education โ Nitec/Diploma in purchasing, supply chain management or similar field preferred
ยท 1+ year of experience in purchasing, supply chain management or related preferred
ยท Good computer literacy
ยท Good interpersonal skills, especially to be able to communicate externally with suppliers and internally with colleagues
ยท Good time management and organisational skills to meet timescales and deadlines
ยท Written and Spoken Mandarin is highly prefer to liaise with vendors
