Job Description

The Marketing executive will liaise with business partners and underwriters, generate management reports, presentation and conduct process improvement in the Motor and A&H Business Development and Underwriting Department and the principal accountabilities are as below:

1. Build long term sustainable relationships with business partners
2. Liaising, advising and servicing (Including rapport building) intermediaries/insureds on A&H and motor insurance matters;
3. Develop marketing campaigns, schemes and activities
4. Work internally with underwriters to implement campaigns, schemes and marketing activities
5. Provide guidance and coaching to junior underwriters and administrative assistants;
6. Provide support to other Team Underwriters as required;
7. Generate and analyse management reports on A&H And Motor Underwriting Department performance;
8. Review, propose and execute process improvement in the A&H and Motor Underwriting Department;
9. Any other responsibilities as assigned by Head A&H and Motor Underwriter.

Job Specific Competencies

1. At least 2 years of underwriting experience in motor insurance;
2. Passed the papers required by MAS to advise on general insurance matters;
3. Possess the necessary people skills for managing their team
4. Good communication skill, tact and patience needed in handling clients for this very competitive class of business
5. Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills;
6. Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers.

Job Description

•Manage day to day accounting functions and perform bookkeeping for AR, AP and GL

•Intercompany balances & transactions reconciliation

•Month-end closing processes including accounts closing, schedules, reconciliations and management reports

•Posting of transactions to journals, ledgers, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

•Prepare & reconcile quarterly GST returns

•Analyze management reports, trends/fluctuations, collaborating across departments to support company objectives

•Cash flow management

•Ensure timely preparation & submission of required statistical reports to authorities

•Liaise closely with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretariat on audit & filing matters

•Prepare regulatory filing report, annual financial statements & corporate tax

•Assist with ad-hoc assignments as directed by Finance Manager

Requirements

•Fresh graduate with degree or diploma in finance are welcome

•Minimum relevant accounting experience: 1 year for Executive, 3 years will be considered for Senior Executive.

•Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced dynamic environment

•Strong working knowledge of IFRS

•Proficient in MS Applications with advanced Excel skills

•Experience with MYOB/ABSS experience is a plus

• Maintenance of records, registers and other relevant documents required by applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Compiling meeting materials and attending to all meeting-related logistics.
• Attending to logistics and arrangements for board and shareholder meetings.
• Updating of statutory registers, corporate information and Secretariat records.
• Drafting Board and Board Committee minutes and resolutions in writing.
• Responding to director / shareholder/ stakeholder queries.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
• Performing any duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Description

• Execute a project effectively once a project order is being received
• Have a complete understanding of the requirements of the project and the delivery schedule
• Liaise with purchasing team with regards to the procurement of the items
• Work with various departments to problem solve and mitigate arising issues such as facilitating changes in project requirements in terms of products or the delivery schedule.
• Handle the billing for each project in an accurate manner
• Maintain excellent control on inventory to facilitate timely shipment and delivery, thereby maximising customer satisfaction and minimising cost;
• Plan, schedule as well as coordinate materials availability to meet customer requirements
• Engage in regular meetings with internal departments to review project, production and procurement updates
• Other related duties as required by HOD/ Management

Requirements:

• Recognised Diploma or Degree in any field
• Preferably 2 years' experience in a related customer-facing field (Eg, Customer Service, Order Processing, Sales Coordination, etc)
• Working experience in import/export or related environment would be advantageous
• Working knowledge and experience in SAP system preferred but not a must
• Able to analyse information quickly and accurately
• Excellent planning, communication and problem solving skills with an eye for details;
• Customer service oriented and result-driven with ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
