Job Duties

• Handling full operations on Air or Ocean freight import/export shipments

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform Line Maintenance work on Aircraft In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems and other aircraft equipment to ensure the serviceability and functionality of the system to ensure passenger experience is not affected. Carry out systems troubleshooting using PL 500 / PL 1500 / PL 2000 / PL 3000 / PL 3500, electronic theories, and test equipment. Remove and replace Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), Seat End, Head End in accordance with the Authority Regulations, policies, and procedures. Complete all administrative duties associated with the maintenance actions performed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

IFEC and Aircraft Systems Maintenance:

• Performing maintenance tasks, which include component replacement, adjustments, inspections, functional tests, and its certification, which includes but is not limited to removing and replacing components in accordance with all applicable documentation (AMM).
• Troubleshoot system failures down to Line Replaceable Units (LRU), head-end, seat-end, cabling, harnesses, or any other aircraft systems and perform functional tests post rectification.
• Perform Cabin Sweep in accordance with Panasonic LMPs and revert findings.
• Perform Built-in test equipment (BITE) and manual test.
• Assist Software and Media Loading.
• Assist MAFs
• Clean components and equipment racks if applicable in accordance with Maintenance Service Agreement.
• Complete aircraft documentation in accordance with customer-specific requirements
• Ensure timely escalation and coordination and be in close contact with the Lead or Supervisor for any issues encountered when performing the assigned task at the aircraft.
• Perform work in accordance with SAR 145 requirements and ensure safety is the utmost priority.
• Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.

Administrative:

• Assist in the management of airside inventory, cycle counting, and toolbox inventory.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health, and safety.
• Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor or Management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have at least a Higher Nitec /ITE/ Diploma/ Degree in Engineering/ Electronics Technology/ Aerospace Technology or equivalent.

The incumbent will work within Training Solutions to handle allocating and scheduling of all Training Solutions global training resources in line with customer requirements as outlined by the Customer Training Operations. Focus of the position is to ensure the efficient, optimal and cost effective utilization of the global Training Solutions network.

Position Responsibilities:

• Schedules flight and maintenance training for multiple airplane models.
• Manages product/process changes (impact and alternative analysis, documentation, etc.) via defined change management processes.
• Forecasts optimal training schedules based upon strategic plans.
• Manages rescheduling efforts. Develops reports and analyses regarding training resources.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in customer support or training schedule related experience.
• 3+ years' experience handling a demanding workload via multi-tasking (i.e., handling daily work, urgent emerging issues, project management, and phone call requests, etc.).
• 3+ years' experience in a position where priorities changed frequently and customer service was critical to the teams success.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with training scheduling and program management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure schedules, and baseline requirements of flight crew training schedule and program.
• Experience working on Flight Simulator Training scheduling or a comparable commercial flight training campus operation.
• Experience with airlines scheduling related to Flight/Maintenance training practices.
• Work shift may vary based on the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Performs startups through Tier III including process qualifications with assistance. Understands all qualifications performed on tool and verifies operational quality (process qualification) of systems equipment including ability to use customer’s metrology equipment. Plans for and completes all levels of preventative and corrective maintenance within timelines. Troubleshoots key technical issues at the component level. Diagnose and recommends solutions for complex system downs. Uses process data to diagnose hardware problems. Resolves some sustaining process issues on well characterized tools.
