We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part time Centre Assistant to join our H&C Chinese Art centre in Parkway Centre and International Plaza. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our centre, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for students. The Centre Assistant will assist with administrative tasks, student engagement, and general operations to contribute to the overall success of the education centre.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
• Assist in maintaining accurate student records and databases.
• Handle inquiries, registrations, and scheduling of classes.
• Prepare and distribute educational materials and resources.
2. Student Engagement:
• Provide assistance to students with inquiries and support their needs.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers regarding student performance.
• Coordinate and participate in educational events and activities.
3. Facility Management:
• Ensure classrooms and common areas are organized and conducive to learning.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment and materials for classes.
4. Communication:
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to the creation and distribution of newsletters and updates.
5. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Centre Manager to implement policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the education centre.
Qualifications:
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, to handle both English and Mandarin speaking customers.
• Previous experience in an educational or customer service environment have an added advantage.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning
environment.
• Possess a passion for working with children.
Working Conditions:
Looking for part part-timer that can work from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm from 27th May 2024 to 21th June 2024.
Job Highlights:
• On job training will be provided
• $13/hour including 1 hour of paid lunch break.
