Position : Temp Staff - Aged and Ancillary Service Regulations & Transformation Division / Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
Contract duration : 1 Oct 24 – 30 Sep 25
NOTE: While the total duration of the temporary employment is for a period of 12 months, the temp staff will be given a 6-months contract at the first instance, and may be extended up to a total of 6 more months subject to performance.
Working hours : Mon – Thurs : 8.30am to 6pm, Fri : 8.30am to 5.30am with one hour lunch break
Hourly rated :
(Diploma with 0-2 years of work experience) – S$11.70 per hour
(Diploma with at least 3 years of work experience) – S$13.60 per hour
Job Duties:
•Manage internal and external stakeholder liaisons (e.g. organising and minute-taking for meetings, managing public enquiry mailboxes (including triaging, drafting replies, and responding to mailbox enquiries), mass-dissemination of official documents to relevant stakeholders);
•Manage the logistics and organisation of key engagements (e.g. forums and consultations) with stakeholders such as healthcare providers and members of the public (e.g. Zoom webinars, in-person consultation sessions);
•Support the team to perform simple quantitative and qualitative analysis of data (e.g. analyse public enquiries received by the division and identify recurring topics of interest).
•Support the team to update the division’s website to ensure information put up remains up-to-date and relevant to stakeholders;
•Support smooth running of an e-training course hosted by the Division (e.g. registration of users, handling queries from users);
•Support the team to track deadlines, deliverables and milestones, ensuring that project timelines are adhered to;
•Support the team to design communication materials (e.g. infographics);
•Any other administrative work as assigned that may include, but not limited to, data entry/ collation, updating of excel databases (e.g. contact lists)
Mandatory Skills:
•Administrative support (e.g. organising meetings, data entry/ collation) and usage of virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams;
•Basic excel analytical skills (e.g. filter function, V lookup, calculate average/sum, plot graphs and prepare tables/charts). Knowledge of pivot table will be an added advantage;
•Comfortable to work with large data sets on excel;
•Detailed oriented and meticulous;
•Good written and communication skills;
•Good project management skills, comfortable to work on multiple tasks concurrently under tight deadlines;
•Able to work independently under minimal supervision, and within a team;
•Willingness to learn and pick up new skills
Skills which are good-to-have but not mandatory (as training will be provided):
•Experience in organising and running of engagement sessions with stakeholders;
•Experience in customer service and management of public enquiries and feedback
•Experience in website maintenance
•Basic graphic design skills (e.g. canva)
Preferred qualifications(candidates with other qualifications may consider applying):
•Diploma in Corporate Communications
•Diploma in Public health / Health policy
•Diploma in Life sciences / Biological Sciences (or any other relevant science background)
(Applicants without any work experience or are able to commit on a part-time basis are also welcomed to apply. Applicants should be able to commit for at least 6 months. There is the possibility of contract extension for up to a year.)
