As paramedic, you will provide pre-hospital care that ensures positive patient outcomes. You will lead an ambulance crew to deliver emergency medical response. You must be able to assess patients, exercise the principles of triage and provide emergency medical care for patient at scene or in ambulance during conveyance. You must be able to use specialist equipment like ventilators and defibrillators to treat patients when needed.

You may be assigned to other projects depending on operational needs, and there are opportunities to take on Trainer roles to educate members of the public on first aid techniques.
