EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Degree in Project Management or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Hospitality, Real estate development and Construction industry.

Prior experience in hotel project and procurement is preferred. Familiarity with global logistics regulations and requirements would be ideal.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in Mandarin with suppliers from China
• Strong negotiation skills.

This is a greenfield opportunity to craft our approach to tax reporting regionally in a rapidly growing business.

Your Day to Day

In this role, your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Managing tax reporting obligations for the group across the Asia Pacific region including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and India;
• Leading all aspects of all tax reporting across direct taxes, indirect taxes, employee taxes and transfer pricing;
• Driving continuous operational improvements;
• Seeking opportunities for automation;
• Establishing a framework for data analytics, policies & procedures and risk management
• Forecasting positions for the region including consideration of new laws such as thin capitalisation and Pillar 2;
• Reviewing the individual jurisdictions’ effective tax rate on an interim basis;

Role Description:

The Implementation Manager, working with the CSRM will play a crucial role in executing through strategic partnerships across a specified geography.
