• Collaborate with industry to enhance students’ learning through activities such as industry field trips, student-industry projects, internship program and overseas programme.
• Serve as an advisory role to ensure equipment and training facilities are updated and operationally-ready for practical training sessions to ensure an authentic learning experience.
• Exercise mentorship and pastoral care to students.
• Participate in Internal and External Quality Maritime Education and Training (QMET) audits.
• Support polytechnic and school events especially in the areas of education counselling guidance and outreach

Requirements:-

• Holder of Marine Engineering Officer Class 2 Certificate of Competency issued by MPA or relevant authorities.
• At least 3 years of working experience within the maritime industry.
• Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring students.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Applicants with no teaching experience may apply

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
