Job Description:

• Supervise subcontractors' work based on drawings, methods, materials, and samples.
• Collaborate with authorities, subcontractors, and clients on drawings and materials.
• Review and align fire protection design drawings for compliance.
• Identify discrepancies between mechanical and electrical (M&E), structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.
• Manage and execute projects according to schedules.
• Attend meetings with contractors, address issues, and update progress.
• Study drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Assign tasks to supervisors, ensuring standards and SOPs are met.
• Plan and lead testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Follow up on site and authority inspections and rectify defects in fire protection works.
• Plan and prepare Operation and Maintenance Manuals (OMM), training materials, and As-Builts for handover.
• Coordinate maintenance of fire protection systems during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

Job Summary:

The Java L2 Support Engineer will provide second-level support for a local government application systems developed in Java. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of applications, and collaborating with other support levels and development teams to maintain high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:

• Provide timely resolution of incidents and service requests related to Java-based government application systems.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Analyze recurring incidents to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
• Document known issues and workarounds to aid in quicker resolution of future incidents.
• Monitor application performance and system health, using monitoring tools and logs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patching and updates, to ensure application stability and security.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the support team to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience
• Proven experience in a technical support role, specifically with Java-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of Java Development Kit (JDK) 8.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle 19C) and SQL.
• Experience with application servers like Redhat JBOSS EAP V7.2.9, Weblogic 12, and IIS Proxy Server.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Java) are a plus.

Location: Pandan Loop Singapore (West Coast)

Working days: 5.5 days (Mon - Sat)
Working time: 8AM - 5PM (Mon-Fri) ; 8AM - 12PM (Sat)
Salary: $2500 - $3500 (Depends on Education Background & Working Experience)

Job Responsible:

• Perform filing and record of drawing list.
• Perform drawings update and submission to the client.
• Prepare project drawing as requested by Engineering, Project and tender management staffs.
• Any other relevant duties that assigned by reporting supervisor.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Min 'O' Level.
• At least 2 years at working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required skill(s): Autocad / BIM modelling.
