What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Environmental business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of all types of environmental projects in various industries, including petroleum, petrochemical, marine, manufacturing, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

• Visit construction sites to undertake fauna survey and site inspection.

• Conduct terrestrial and marine biodiversity surveys.

• Collect and analyze field data.

• Prepare EIA and EMMP reports.

• ​Support the Senior Consultant in proposal preparation, presentation and reports.​

What can you bring to the team?
 

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Ecology, Biodiversity, Environmental Science or any relevant degree, with at least 3 years of experience in an environmental consultancy. Work experience in a consultancy with exposure to EIA/EMMP would be advantageous.

• Field experience in conducting terrestrial biodiversity survey (e.g. transect and camera trap).

• Familiarity with Singapore’s Environmental Laws and Regulations, NParks BIA guidelines, NEA and PUB guidelines etc.

• Strong written, verbal communication and data presentation skills, along with the ability to understand and solve complex issues.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Power Point. Competency in GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS) would be an advantage.

Job Description

First Officer Requirements

• Total Fixed Wings Flight Time of more than 1500 Hours on aeroplanes with MTMA of 5700kg or more.

License Requirements

• A Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore issued ICAO CPL(A)/ ATPL(A) (foreign ATPL will be required to undergo licence conversion which requires an instrument rating and a proficiency check that has a minimum of 6 months' validity.)
• Demonstrate the ability to speak and understand English with a minimum of ICAO level 4.
• Satisfy all vaccination requirements as required by CAAS.

Training Co-Payment & Training Bond

• Where applicable, successful candidates will be trained to acquire an Aircraft Type Rating for the assigned fleet.
• Successful candidates who are provided with type rating training will be subjected to a co-payment of the training cost and will be required to enter a training bond.

What’s Next

• Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a series of online aptitude tests.
• Shortlisted applicants after online assessment stage will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre in Singapore. The Assessment Centre will consist of a group stage and an individual interview.
• Successful candidates will need to attend a Simulator Assessment and MMPI Assessment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and Coordination: Constantly monitor multiple systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, radio communications etc.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, or alarms by assessing the situation, dispatching appropriate personnel or resources, and coordinating response efforts with relevant stakeholders such as emergency services, law enforcement, and medical personnel.
• Maintain clear and concise communication channels with field personnel, colleagues using various communication devices and platforms, including two-way radios, telephones etc.
• Ensure accurate attendance records are maintained and appropriate actions are taken for absenteeism and lateness etc.
• Provide 1st level desktop, network and application support.
• Manage and supervise the deployment of security officers across all sites utilizing CCTV and Attendance Systems.
• Administer security systems and monitor CCTV feeds, responding promptly to incidents as required.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the security industry, preferably holding a Security Supervisor (SS) rank or above (SSO Rank can be considered).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information, following protocols, and adhering to standard operating procedures are necessary to ensure the reliability and integrity of data and communication processes.
• Overall a Command Centre Controller plays a pivotal role in maintaining safety, security, and efficiency within an organization by monitoring, coordinating, and responding to various events and emergencies in real-time.
• Understanding of operational and security management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player with effective management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. excel, word & power point).
• Good knowledge of CCTV systems and computer operations.
• Keenness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
• Must be able to work either Day or Night Shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure tidiness and cleaning of the general building area.
• Leading the team in providing cleaning service.
• Ad-hoc task that is assigned by the Superior.

Job Requirement:

• Possess at least 3 years of similar working experience in supervising the cleaning team.
• High-level interpersonal and leadership skills.
• A good team player yet able to deliver independent assignments as required.
