About the Role

We are looking to add an additional headcount to our existing finance department to help increase the efficiency of the department. The roles and responsibilities highlighted below cover the majority of the tasks that will be shared between the respective departments, but experience in all fields may not be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle the day to day transaction on Accounts Receivable module
• Reconciliation of Collections via credit card payments, cash, cheque, and GIRO payments against invoices
• Update customer receipt, and offline payments recon
• Work with Centre Managers and Divisional Managers on customer AR
• Submission of monthly GTO Reports to respective landlords
• Assist in Monthly GST Sales reconciliation work
• Assist Centre Managers and Divisional Managers in inventory retail stock takes and reconciliation
• Prepare timely and detailed full set of accounts for one of the Aureus Group of companies
• Liaise with auditors for annual audit
• Organize all documents and files in both physical and digital storage

Hiring Criteria:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
• Experience in using Oracle Netsuite preferred but not required
• Positive Attitude with the ability to keep all financial details confidential
• Independent worker, resourceful, able to work with little guidance
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
• Organizational skills

Job Scope:

• Financial Record Keeping: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring that all transactions are correctly documented. This includes overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the general ledger.
• Budget Preparation and Management: Assist in preparing the annual budget, closely monitoring and reporting on variances between the budgeted and actual figures. Provide insights to management on financial performance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure these reports are accurate and comply with relevant financial regulations.
• Tax Compliance and Filing: Oversee the company’s tax planning and compliance. This includes preparing and filing GST returns, corporate income tax, and other relevant taxes in a timely manner.
• Payroll Administration: Handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salaries, bonuses, deductions, and compliance with employment laws and tax regulations.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor the company’s cash flow, managing inflows and outflows effectively to maintain financial stability.
• Accounts Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements against the company’s records to ensure accuracy in financial data.
• Audit Assistance: Provide support during internal and external audits, preparing necessary documents and implementing auditors' recommendations.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide management with reports that aid in decision-making.
• Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets. Continuously look for ways to improve financial processes and systems for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Ad-hoc Financial Duties: Depending on the specific needs of the company, the role might include additional responsibilities such as supporting strategic planning, investment analysis, or any financial-related projects.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance or any other field.

Professional Certifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) : Will be an added advantage

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Relevant Work Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with software such as AutoCount, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, and advanced Excel skills are crucial for managing financial data efficiently.
• Understanding of Singapore Tax Laws and Regulations: Familiarity with Singapore's tax laws, including GST and corporate income tax, is essential.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports is critical.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience in creating and managing budgets, as well as forecasting financial performance.
• Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for liaising with various stakeholders and presenting financial information clearly.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in handling financial data and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Overall in charge of the company's HR & Accounts Work and general day-to-day office administrative duties.

Accounting Responsibilities:

• Verifying suppliers invoice, intercompany transaction
• Preparation of invoices, Purchase Order, Payment Voucher and Cheque Payment to Supplier
• Checking, verifying and processing expenses claimed by staffs(Petty Cash)
• Monitoring cash flow, and aging report
• Daily bookkeeping
• Monitor A/R & A/P
• Profit Balance Loss
• Xero software knowledge would be advantage

HR Responsibilities:

• Assist with foreign employee related queries
• Assist with preparation and issuance of Appointment Letters
• Assist with Payroll
• Arrangement of Employee Team Bonding Event
• Infotech knowledge would be advantage

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Handle company confidential documents
• General administrative duties
• Assist with marketing tools such as Facebook, Instagram

Requirements:

• Proficient Microsoft Office(Word,Excel)
• Able to work independently and multi-task efficiently
• Positive work attitude and display initiative to resolve problems independently

Job Details:

• Basic Salary: $2,500 + Attractive Commission

• Location: One of the bank branches you will be stationed in.

• 6 working days (But may only need to work a half day on Saturdays) – 11AM to 7PM or 10AM to 6PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Promote sales of financial institution credit cards and personal loans to clients based on their needs.
