The job holder will be responsible for the admissions processes of our various MSc programmes but with oversight of dedicated MSc programme(s), as well as Graduate Certificate programmes in collaboration with other team colleagues. S/he will work with the various stakeholders (Academic Director, relevant faculty members, students, internal and external stakeholders) to ensure the smooth running of the admissions process of our programmes. S/he will also have an important public relations role in representing the MSc Programmes Office, NUS Business School, and NUS both internally and externally, and contribute to the Business School’s mission and values.

The duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Contribute to a dynamic team involved in the growth of the MSc Programmes Office
• Oversee and manage the admissions administration and processes (e.g. review of application materials, organize/conduct interviews, prepare reports and admissions materials for management review, etc.)
• Liaise with prospective applicants on application documentation and submissions
• Oversee and provide support to students for admissions-related matters (e.g. Application process, Student Pass, Matriculation, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with faculty in conducting and transcribing admission interviews
• Contribute to the review and improvement of admissions processes
• Conduct administrative briefing sessions for students
• Provide admission and general counselling to students
• Support overseas delegation visits and summer programmes
• Train and mentor junior staff as required
• Deliver a superior level of customer service and programme satisfaction to internal and external stakeholders
• Support Welcome Session, Orientation and other programme events organized by the MSc Programmes Office
• Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Director, Academic Director and Programme Office

Qualifications

• Degree from a reputable University in any discipline
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in a higher education institution
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and consult with senior level internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational ability and high attention to details in tracking and managing admissions for academic programmes
• Observant in identifying process, operational and service gaps and propose solutions
• Passionate in seeking constant improvements to processes and service delivery
• Strong customer service focus in cross-cultural environments
• Self-driven with a high level of autonomy and yet be a team player simultaneously

* Liaise with sites management in arranging workers for medical examination, MOM thumbprint, vaccination, etc.

* Assist in workers' administration.

*Provide end to end administrative support across different level

*Update daily invoices payable, AP monitoring.

1. Creating a project schedule, with milestones, due dates and estimates for those materials that are required and other resources, such as team members, which will then be submitted to management for approval.
2. Helping with the documentation of each phase of the project, as well as making summary reports that will be presented to the organization’s management team.
3. Working with team members in the field or on site who have project issues.
4. Keep up the morale of team members and build relationships with them to develop a strong working unit and supporting their impact on the success of a project.
5. Work autonomously, making decisions without too much managerial oversight.
6. Know the concepts related to the management of a project.

Admissions Operations

• Support the delivery of a personalised experience (visit of otherwise) for each prospective parent and pupil that reflects on the Brighton College brand
• Answer Admissions phone calls and emails and/or direct appropriately
• Manage the Enrolment process for families, including supporting their on-boarding and collection of all relevant documents prior to joining the College
• Assist with the promotion of the school at internal and external events with prospective new parents throughout the year
• Other duties as directed by the Leadership team

Parent Support

• Manage feedback and enquiries from enrolled families, directing queries to the appropriate parties
• Support post-enrolment parent by assisting/directing them appropriately (e.g. replacement of parent ID, car decal, troubleshoot meal top-ups etc)
• Support the off-boarding process for pupils who are leaving the College by liaising with the relevant staff
• Administer and prepare reports on parent surveys.

Reception/Front Desk

• Maintains a daily presence at the Pre-Prep office, in support of parents, pupils and Pre-Prep staff
• Liaises with the school nurse and class teachers as required.
• Supports parents who need to enter and exit the campus outside ‘normal’ pick up and drop off times
• Receives and cares for children who have not been picked up on time, as requested by staff
• Supports requests from teaching staff, in liaison with the School Secretary
• Maintains security by following procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service to parents
