Job duties:

• Identify, acquire, develop and expand customer base.
• Follow up with customers/prospects on the RFQ/enquiry status.
• Conduct presentation on proposals and deliverables to promote and achieve sales closure.
• Customer relationship building and manage customers’ expectations by conducting regular visit and facilitating exchange correspondence
• Keep abreast of market and industry development and give regular feedback and recommendation to internal organisation.
• Attend related industry events and exhibitions to build relationships and generate new business opportunities
• Submit daily sales report

Job Description

• Update the records to process account payable and petty cash.
• Review AP aging, report of exception matter (if any).
• Reconcile vendors’ SOA to our accounting record (at least for major suppliers.
• Update records of account receivables.
• Prepare general ledger in time for audit schedule assigned.
• Small entities monthly and yearly closing.
• Handling the full set of accounts for small entities.
• Assist in preparation for GST return, corporate income tax return, ECI.
• Assist in quarterly or half yearly and financial year end stock take conducted by finance dept.
• Assist to prepare stock take variance report for superior to review.

Responsibilities

• Support in ensuring compliance with internal control policies, procedures and accounting standards.
• Support the accounts payable, receivable and GL process.
• Support in financial and tax related reporting.
• Assist in process update and improvement for Finance department.
• Assist in setting up key performance metrics tracking, FP&A analysis, treasury projects.

• Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Hourly pay rate: $10 per hour

Accounting

• Responsible for full set accounts, reconciliation reports
• Ensure prompt year end and month-end closings
• Prepare monthly financial reporting, management reporting and ad hoc reporting
• Prepare and update tax and audit schedules

Statutory Compliance

• Prepare annual financial reports and submit to company secretary for filing to ACRA
• File tax and GST returns
• To meet other applicable laws and regulations.

Audits

• Coordinate and work with auditors closely to complete yearly financial audit.,

Cashflow

• Oversee overall cashflow management, rolling cashflow projections
• Monitor and update outstanding payments, collections and recoveries
• Support treasury management and weekly cashflow reporting

Asset & Inventory

• Manage asset register
• Monitor and manage inventory aging
• Liaise with banks, auditor, tax agents, lawyers and relevant parties
• Supervise and managing accounts assistants
• Support new processes and system implementation

Requirements:

• Tertiary education in Accounting
• Working knowledge of AUTOCOUNT will be an added advantage
• Meticulous and attention to details
• Good analytical and coordinating abilities
• Prior experience in construction industry is strongly preffered
• Able to work independently, dynamic with initiative within timeline
• A good team player and able to multi-task effectively with minimum supervision
• Able to communicate in both English & Chinese (to liaise with associates)
• Working day: 5 Days (after confirmation), 5.5 Days (during probation)
