Accounts Executive, Payroll

Reporting to the Accountant, we are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Executive, Payroll to manage the hotel’s payroll system, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of wages in compliance with applicable tax laws and Four Seasons Hotel Singapore policies. The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position specialising in the philosophy of science and technology. We are particularly interested in applicants who can play an instrumental role in addressing questions relating to ethics in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies—both through teaching students who are pursuing engineering, computer science, and architecture majors and through interdisciplinary research collaborations with engineering, design, and computer science faculty. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a humanities-related discipline, such as philosophy or digital humanities, and have demonstrated research and teaching expertise in their field.

Besides cultivating a strong research portfolio, the successful candidate will be required to teach our undergraduate humanities core course and new electives in the candidate’s area of specialisation. Candidates who can contribute to our cluster’s digital humanities minor programme will also be viewed favourably. Other duties include working with faculty to contribute to interdisciplinary research and teaching initiatives, such as mentoring students as they work on their capstone projects or fostering collaborations with industry or public service sectors.

The Job

• Review and Process Loan Applications under Hire Purchase, Credit Loans and other loan products which involves meticulously reviewing loan applications, verifying information provided by applicants, and assessing their creditworthiness.
• You'll be responsible for preparing all necessary loan documentation accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements under hire purchase act and company policies.

About The Role

This position is part of the Student Services (SS) department within Office of Academic Services (AS) serving as the first point of contact for students and alumni and enhancing the overall student services of the University. SS manages the SS hotline, counter, written correspondences,and administration of Electronic Course Evaluation (eCE) surveys to foster a student centric service environment.
The candidate will support SS day-to-day operations, manage the SS Quality and Training related initiatives, assist with survey administration, and contribute towards the overall enhancement of SS service ecosystem.

What You Will Be Doing

Operations (30%)

• Monitor and supervise day-to-day student services operations, manage students’ enquiries, requests, and feedback across all touch pointsthat are received through channels such as phone, email, and walk-in.
• Manage a team of 2-3 officers and/or senior officers, providing guidance to team members on handling student feedback, especially forchallenging and complex situations.
• Identify issues/opportunities for improvement, highlight follow-up and participate in deployment of process improvements or enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (schools and other admin departments) to assess/investigate complex cases, appeals or exceptional requests from students and provide a satisfactory resolution within a stipulated/reasonable timeline.

Quality Assurance & Training (30%)

• Performs quality transactional monitoring.

• Perform administrator duties to maintain the new platform and manage the access rights of various users onboard the eCE platform.

Strategic (10%)

• Support projects, system enhancements and process implementation for systems/applications used by SS department.

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in customer service, preferably in a contact centre environment.
• Professional Qualifications in Contact Centre, Quality Assurance and Training (e.g., COPC, ACTA, etc.) will be an added advantage.
