• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with carriers and co-loaders
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for all Air-freight inquiries
• Take responsibility for coordinating collection arrangements with both internal and external customers
• Collaborate with vendors to plan collection schedules and provide the Air Export operation team with comprehensive execution details, including cost information
• Thoroughly review vendor invoices for shipments arranged and ensure accuracy
• Generate and deliver weekly and monthly reports to customers and account managers when necessary
• Extend support to the team in ensuring speedy and accurate responses to pricing and quotation requests from internal departments, overseas stations, and clients
• Keep track of bid-winning ratios and conduct analysis as required
• Fulfill any other duties as assigned

Job Info:

• Salary: Basic from $2800 - $3600 + VB
• Working Hour: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm) - WFH applicable
• Location: Tuas Crescent (Company transport pick up at Tuas Crescent MRT)

Job Scope:

• Ensure execution and compliance with the Accounts Payable processes and policies for the group
• Lead the AP team, providing supervision and support to AP assistants
• Continuously improve the Accounts Payable function's work processes and payment procedures
• Process AP invoices, including verification, coding, data entry, and approval
• Match purchase orders to invoices and input invoices into ERP system
• Identify and flag any irregularities detected during invoice processing
• Process staff claims via e-claim portal
• Manage payments, including receiving, processing, verifying, and ensuring compliance with company policy
• Perform monthly payment runs to suppliers and employees
• Prepare standard journal entries related to the accounts payable function
• Meet all financial closing timelines and ensure overall processing integrity and accuracy
• Prepare accurate and timely month-end close journals
• Conduct supplier reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Conduct inter-company reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Handle document filing
• Conduct bank reconciliation for payments
• Prepare balance sheet schedules for the AP portion
• Address supplier inquiries
• Complete any other tasks/projects assigned by the immediate supervisor
