The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Project Officer to manage research data, code, and outputs for the ‘Integrating Volcano and Earthquake Science and Technology (InVEST) in Southeast Asia’ project, a 5-year project that aims to provide a holistic understanding of regional tectonics, volcanoes, the linkages between the two, and their cascading hazards and impacts in Singapore and Southeast Asia.  

The candidate will work under the supervision of Asst Prof FENG Lujia, and the primary job scope is to support building a 3D fault model for the Southeast Asian Ring of Fire. However, the candidate will also collaborate with many InVEST PIs, staff, and students to support their research and ensure InVEST research data, code, and outputs are properly archived. Key Responsibilities:

• Search and compile publicly available geological, geophysical, and seismic data for Southeast Asia

The Environment Laboratory Cluster is based in NTU's School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.  It consists of three laboratories:
