Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Development in Singapore, we are looking for someone to join the team in a leadership role to help support our business development activities in Singapore. Key Responsibilities include the following:
• Developing business with asset managers and asset owners across all aspects of asset servicing including fund administration, loan administration, custody, outsourcing, FX Overlay, banking & payments
• Working independently & owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure of deals
• Create a prospect list and develop strategies to effectively engage those prospects
• Efficient use of Salesforce - log prospective clients, key influencers and logging of meeting notes
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new products
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in Industry & Professional bodies
• Gather market insights and work closely with Product Development to ensure our offering is market leading.
• Communicate and collaborate with Line of Business Heads, Marketing and Operations team members
• Contribute to the team effort and work on special projects
Qualifications
• Experience working at a similar level in Fund Administration or Financial Services more broadly, with an interest in moving into business development
• Technical understanding of alternative investment types, structures and market participants
• Previous experience with alternative asset managers and FX Overlay to be considered favourable
