Responsibilities

• Share Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Alert and other information from the government agencies that is relevant to the company and departments.
• Support process engineer in managing and maintaining compliance calendar.
• Investigate and report any workplace accidents. Accident/ incident report generation and assist Human Resources Department in Ministry of Manpower (MOM) reporting if any.
• Establish pollution prevention program, execute on-going reduction plans for the reduction of wastes and releases and establish key performance indicators (KPI)
• Frequently visit the Plant to ensure all Plant activities are in-compliance with the ISO, ESH and EMS system.
• Manage and generate relevant safety trainings in online training platform for plant employees.
• Co-ordinate external and internal environmental, health and safety related training sessions for all employees
• Ensure high risk non-routine works are accompanied with work-permit. Conduct policing of non-compliance.
• Administer Hazmat and Fire or Emergency Drills in the Company. Liaise with external agencies on joint exercises.
• Environmental pollution monitoring, Security, fire prevention system maintenances

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science or Safety
• Is a registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer with MOM
• Knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety, Environmental and Health laws
• At least 2 years of working experience as safety practitioner
