• Daily Air Freight Operations (Export & Import):
• Execute AWB processes and ensure timely cargo lodgment with airlines.
• Maintain accurate data updates in accordance with airline requirements, including cargo labeling if necessary.
• Print AWBs and generate all essential documents.
• Update FWB/FHL/SATS Cargo Pre-Lodge.
• Dispatch pre-alerts to overseas agents.
• Coordinate air cargo bookings with shippers, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
• Provide guidance and assistance in air cargo operations.
• Assist in organizing import shipments and managing delivery arrangements.
• Ensure timely and accurate responses to all emails.
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders for efficient shipment execution.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.

Job Description

• Manage company’s accounts.
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities and reporting
• Ensure day-to-day transactional accounting, cash management, budget control and financial reporting are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure internal control policies and procedures are compliance with Company policies, local Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Work with external auditors, tax agents and local authorities, ensuring all tax and legal filing as required by local law and regulations are performed accurately and timely, resolving any accounting or tax related issues raised.
• Identify improvement areas and initiate good accounting control procedures and best practices to enhance accounting quality and efficiency.
• Responsible for monthly payroll and CPF calculation and filings.
• Responsible for individual income tax reporting and filings.
• Additional ad hoc projects and assignments.

Job Requirement

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of IFRS
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements and tax related duties
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
