Finance:

Job Scope

The Grains and Oilseeds (G&O) Platforms are two of LDCs longest standing business. The Platforms have an international presence in the world’s major producing and consuming regions and originate, handle, store, transform and merchandize products across the spectrum of Grains and Oilseeds products.

Job Scope

You will undertake a supervisory role and be expected to manage a team of assistants. The primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

I. Overseeing the revenue collection and account receivables function and to work with stakeholders on arrears recovery

II. Validate the completeness and accuracy of transactions by ensuring that all transactions are authorised, comply with prevailing policies and supporting documents are in order.

IX. Work closely with IT & relevant parties to resolve payment related issues and ensure payment timeliness.

X. Develop, coach and motivate members of the team to deliver effective, responsive and customer-centric service to customers.

Requirements:

EDUCATION

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accountancy, and/or professional certifications or other equivalent qualifications.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates with 2 years of experience with Accounts background or equivalent professional qualifications will have an advantage.

Skills and Qualifications:

· University degree, preferably in banking or finance related discipline

· Several years of experience in bank operational roles, preferably wealth management related

· Keen understanding of client lifecycle processes which includes documentation, screening and static change

· Good client service mindset with excellent communication and problem solving skills

· Strong risk and control mindset with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem-solving

Additional points:

· Fresh grads with Internship exp in a Bank on the Operations side either Back office or Middle office

· People up to 2 years of exp in any Bank Ops role in Back office Or Middle office -Candidate has worked in any of the Run The Bank Process

· The candidate needs to demonstrate a level of efficiency and attention to detail while under pressure strictly adhering to timelines

· Candidates with good communications skills

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement the accounting system and financial management/internal control policies for all four companies, while managing operational risks and providing timely feedback.

· Review the compliance of original vouchers, process accounting entries, and prepare financial statements and analytical reports on schedule to support effective decision-making.

· Execute tax planning strategies, maintain relationships with tax authorities, and ensure compliance with business and tax regulations to minimize operational risks.

· Prepare, execute, and evaluate the company's financial budget and performance.

· Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, with over 5 years of financial experience or at least 2 years in a management role within a relevant industry.

· Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, and excellent interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset.

· Preferences will be given to candidates with experience in financial management for shipping industry

· Open to Singaporean citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents only.
