Responsibilities

· Work closely with UAT Team Lead to ensure requirements and scope are clearly understood.
· Conduct UAT testing for business deliverables including new markets or products, application decommissions, operational improvements, and industry-driven regulatory changes.
· Assist Test Lead to track UAT issues, and publish daily EOD test status.
· Perform end to end testing with full understanding of the Business Requirements and Functional Specs.
· Communicate to UAT Team Lead on open issues and defects, run book execution progress, and risks.
· Ensure UAT artifacts and sign-offs are saved as the UAT audit trail.
· Able to understand business requirements/functional requirements and translate them into test cases.
· Able to execute test scripts, raise defects in tracking system (e.g. Jira) and follow through on defect resolution
· Able to collaborate with business and technology team to Ensure effective end to end testing.

Requirements

· At least 1+ years of experience in performing UAT testing or Business Analyst
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal
· Strong analytical skill

· Has knowledge in at least on one of the following:
- Electronic Banking (e.g. internet banking),
- Channels Banking (e.g. File transfer service, SWIFTnet, SWIFT)
- Payments (e.g. Domestic Wire, Cross Border Wire, G3 Bulk Payment, G3 FAST)
- Liquidity (e.g. Sweeping and Pooling)
- Statements (e.g. MT940, Camt)
- APIs

Responsibilities:

• Define, monitor and review HNW KPIs. Evaluate performance to targets to formulate and drive business strategies, project management and initiatives with the aim to optimise results.
• Review and ensure case management related processes (Eg. High Net Worth applications, tracking files, case updates and other related matters) are in place and operating smoothly.
• Lead the Banca / Broker Team to drive HNW sales and achieve both TWNS and NBEV budgets.
• Develop the business through engagements and trainings and ensure that Banca / Broker are well versed with the company’s value propositions and products in the market.
• Proactive to identify and develop both HNW opportunities and emerging HNW market trends.
• Actively obtain information on market gaps information and provide feedback to Head of Department.
• Support HNW product innovation and enhancement through market intelligence.
• Provide quality service and response on HNW related queries.
• Monitor and control sales activities by managing sales trend (both on-shore and off-shore), identify and resolve issues in processes and maintaining effective communication with Banca / Broker.
• Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders such as but not limiting to Case Managers, New Business Underwriting, Compliance, Customer Service to resolve issues, appeals and feedback.
• Provide regular management reports on sales performance / pipelines and business updates to the Head of Department.
• Assist Head of Department with HNW related matters.
• Ensure that relevant budgets to the Team are catered to and expenditure papers are prepared and approved.
• Ensure Team keeps audit worthiness level.
• Review SOPs related to scope of Team on an annual basis to ensure that they are updated with any changes made to processes.
• As part of the leadership team, work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the organisation’s culture and conduct environment that is aligned to the organization’s Core Values.
• Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/Division.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Requirements

• Leadership, management skills and the ability to coach, motivate and retain staff
• Possesses strong business acumen
• Experience in Life Insurance product and/or business development is a mandatory pre-requisite
• Knowledge of underwriting requirements for high net worth cases is advantageous.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the school's long-term goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management to create annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Financial Management:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure the school maintains strong financial health and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Ensure full compliance with regulations mandated by funding agencies.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of finance personnels.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing finance team.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present financial reports to the school's leadership (monthly) and Board of Governors (quarterly).
• Provide support and assistance to the Finance Sub-Committee of the Board of Governors.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations in a timely fashion.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact the school's operations or financial stability.
• Recommend, implement effective internal controls and financial policies.

Audit and Compliance:

• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Strategic Financial Projects:

• Lead or participate in strategic financial projects, such as capital investments, fundraising initiatives, and cost optimization efforts.

Financial Literacy:

• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to heighten stakeholders’ awareness of sound financial practices, fostering financial literacy and ensuring stakeholders are well-equipped to understand, appreciate, and actively participate in school’s financial stewardship.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in an educational institution or similar non-profit setting.
4. Strong knowledge of Singaporean financial regulations and reporting requirements.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in financial software and tools.
7. Ability to multi-task with a keen eye for details.
8. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
9. Ability to work independently, handle confidential information with discretion.

The role

You run the accounting function at Love, Bonito. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be in charge of maintaining the integrity of our accounting infrastructure and ensuring it scales with the Company.

Main responsibilities

• Oversee all related functions in the accounting department including accounting operations, general ledger, and financial reporting functions
• Manage preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated management reports on a timely basis
• Lead all audit and internal control operations and ensure adherence to local statutory financial reporting requirements
• Oversee the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Manage and mentor 10+ accounting team based in both Singapore and Malaysia
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to support day-to-day operations and investments.
• Oversea treasury strategy to optimize risk-free yield from excess cash on balance sheet
• Lead implementation of any accounting related technology
• Manage key relationships including auditors, banks, payment providers, and insurance
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in audit firms and/or accounting functions 
• Experience managing a 10+ team that’s decentralized
• Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant fields
• ACCA/CPA/CA qualification
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
