Responsible for monthly financial closing and preparation of management reports for the companies of NTUC Enterprise Co-operative and/or the Group.

You are expected to:

• Closing of accounts

Responsibilities

• Bringing in mandates of financing and advisory business by conducting market and industry analysis and evaluating and analyzing the financial needs of both Japanese and local clients across Asia
• Build relationship with and bringing in financing and advisory business from Japanese corporates by leveraging strong relationship that Nomura has developed in Japan along with any other applicable quantitative and qualitative analysis; Identifying and developing business opportunities, drive presentations and client relationship development;

Requirements

• Minimally a Bachelor’s degree either in Economics or Finance from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in client relationship development, covering network and client relationships with senior key management of Japanese Corporate Clients, with track record of financing and advisory deals across key sub-sectors (Consumer Retail, Healthcare, TMT, Industrials, Real Estates and Energy and Utilities). This would include subsidiaries of the Japanese and Local Corporates across South East Asia. Has the ability to bridge and cross-sell customized Japan financing solutions to Singapore and South East Asia clients
• Professional fluency in both written and verbal communication skills in Japanese is essential as this role would require constant interaction with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Liaise with key stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and the Japan Headquarters
• Has knowledge in Equity Finance business and experience in proposing and executing projects.
• Fluent in key drivers and performance measures of all major sectors Experienced in driving and leading on pitches and execution work streams
• Has experience in team management or mentoring ; to coach and develop junior talent bench strength
