As a lead data analyst, you will be part of a fun team which will be working to support all business functions with finance focus in Funding Societies. In short, the function of a data analyst is to understand the needs of the business and use data to derive a solution that you will then present, implement, and track and add value to the company and its performance. What will you do:

• Lead, mentor & enable team members to drive a high performance team
• Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of Finance data analysts work for key projects such as finance audit, finance closing, regulatory & BAU reporting
• Pioneer and develop financial analysis capabilities within the data team, and perform some hands on analyses yourself to drive insights from multiple data sources
• Collaborate with regional Finance and various business teams, plan roadmap & quarterly OKR, drive projects and propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

What we are looking for:

Must-haves

• Qualifications Bachelor in finance and/or quantitative related disciplines or equivalent. 3-7 years of experience

An exciting role has come up with a well-performing bank in Singapore for an Internal Audit AVP/VP.

As part of the regional audit team, you will work with the Head of Audit to plan, lead and execute audits in accordance with regulations and standards and devise effective testing, including the use of data analytics. You will prepare and disseminate regular communications with Senior Management/the business. This is a generic audit role and could cover audits across Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Financial Markets.

The ideal candidate possesses at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in audit within a bank or a Big 4 firm auditing banks. Professional qualifications such as CIA/CA/ACCA/CPA highly advantageous. Strong communication skills would be a pre-requisite due to the need to work alongside senior stakeholders. About the role

Finance Specialist reports to Director - Head of Financial Reporting - Finance. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain, review and quality assure accounting data in a timely fashion in compliance with IFRS/SFRS and adhere to ICFR procedures for proper documentation, record keeping, presentation and disclosures

• Review and supervise work performed by team, providing guidance to overcome challenges and support in knowledge sharing, team building, competency development initiatives

• Ensure timely, accurate and high quality delivery in terms of internal/external audits and compliance reviews, identifying areas of improvement and implementing initiatives to simplify, automate and standardize processes, system and work routines

• Manage and own voluminous account reconciliations with vendors, customers, other stakeholders in an efficient manner

• Implement and maintain strict control environment in compliance with best practices, generally accepted accounting principles, Telenor Group policies and procedures

• Supports the Director/Manager Finance and responsible for the administrative and operational activities within finance function

• Maintain up to date records of forecasts, budgets and update variance analysis on monthly basis

• Supports on quarter rolling cash forecast to ensure healthy liquidity position of the Company

• Coordinate with accounting support team for information provisioning, reconciliation with internal systems and external party records
