Payment Investigation & Helpdesk will partner with Correspondent Banking Clients as well as internal lines of businesses including Global Transaction Banking (GTB), Business Bank, Retail Bank, Wealth, Fraud, Sanctions, Global Anti-Money Laundering, and TRIMIS to ensure customer's money reaches its final destination or help retrieve funds if customer falls victim to fraud. Message Filter Group is responsible of screening of SWIFT messages (both incoming and outgoing) against sanctions regulatory list and internal monitoring list. The team will conduct investigation on all messages blocked by filter.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitoring of SWIFT messages held by Sanction Screening platform and follow up with Sanction Screening Governance team to release the SWIFT messages timely
• Provide first point of contact support for email and/or SWIFT and ensure all queries from both internal and external clients are responded in a timely and professional manner
• Support SWIFT Gateway operations and CLS / payments processingReview the format of payments which do not qualify for straight through processing and provide recommendations on correct formatting to conform with SWIFT Standards as the end goal of increasing the rate of STP
