We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Executive to manage and optimize daily warehousing activities, including online sales and everyday deliveries of food items, edible stock and household items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement warehouse procedures for efficient handling of everyday deliveries and online sales of food, edible stock, and household items.
• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, with a focus on managing food and edible stock inventory, household items, and monitoring expiration dates and shelf life.
• Manage inbound shipment and outbound deliveries, coordinating with delivery team to schedule timely pickups and deliveries, and ensure shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists) aligns with physical shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, promptly addressing any discrepancies and ensuring proper storage conditions for perishable, non-perishable, and household goods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency, supporting the timely fulfilment of customer orders, including high volumes from online sales.
• Ensure optimal warehouse layout, space management, and the effective use of equipment for maximum productivity and safety.
• Monitor and manage logistics operations, optimizing transportation to meet delivery schedules while minimizing costs.
• Lead safety protocols, particularly for handling food and household items, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Regularly review and enhance warehouse procedures, driving continuous improvements in operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage warehouse equipment performance and oversee maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Lead and coordinate regular stock and inventory checks throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
• Experience managing logistics for online sales and collaborating with various departments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/logistics management, including developing operational procedures for online sales, daily deliveries, preferably handling food, edible stock, and household items.
• Strong expertise in managing food and edible stock inventory, with a focus on shelf life and proper storage conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with inventory management tools is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.

Work Schedule:

Sea Import

• Provide sea freight LCL/FCL and LCC/FCC quotation to clients
• Process import clearance orders through email/fax/international dept routing
• Request / facilitate for payment from accounts department for shipping charges / forklift charges
• Liaison with relevant party / shipping agents for documentation and releasing of shipment.
• Arrange for exchange of delivery order / portent release to agents / carriers
• Arrange for import clearance from Container Port / KD / CZ within the given time frame
• Liaison with transport / haulier contractor to arrange / deliver cargoes / containers to the required locations
• Forward to customer the POD
• Perform billing once job is completed with all relevant documents – with proper SOPS
• Assist international department with sea import costing for billing / quotation purposes
• Liaison with customs for customs supervision matters when the need arises
• Generate import permit for clearance (IG, ME, II, OO, IT)
• Coordinate, activate and execute shipments and ensure prompt delivery to locations specified by the customers.
• Ensure all emails / communications are responded in timely fashion.
• Co-ordinate and take delivery instructions from the Customers
• Track and monitor progress of shipments and report/update Customers.
• Coordinate vessel loading and delivery on board arrangements

Sea Export

• To handle Customer enquiries with full comprehension of requirements
• To source for ocean freight rates – LCL, FLC, BB
• To submit quotations within time frame to HOD for approval
• Preparation of shipping documents – all aspects
• Coordinate with Inter-departments and operations to ensure accuracy in documentations and invoicing
• Liaison with Inter Department on shipment arrangements, if required
• Liaison with Overseas Agents for Freight handling and charges
• Track and monitor progress of shipments and report / update customers.
• Preparation of Billing Instructions (BIs) for submission to Accounting
• Submit reports as and when directed by the HOD
• Resolve Customer’s service issues and complaints
• Submit other reports as directed and required by The Management

As a key member of Group Finance, you will be responsible to manage certain finance activities, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and costing.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Group Senior Finance Manager, you will play an important role in the Finance function of the Group, ensuring that the financial performance of the operation business units aligns with the overall strategic goals of the Group. You will work closely with all other functional teams, including Operations, to provide strong support to deliver operating and profitability goals.

This role requires strong analytical, leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to regional market dynamics and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning

· Develop the Group’s financial planning, aligning with corporate objectives

· Collaborate with finance teams from various plants to gather and analyse financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness

· Maintain financial models and forecasts to support budgeting, planning, and strategic decision-making

· Analyse historical financial data and industry trends to make informed projections

Budgeting and Forecasting

· Oversee the annual budgeting process for multiple manufacturing plants within the Group, ensuring alignment with corporate goals

· Continuously monitor and update forecasts to reflect changes in business conditions and performance

Financial Analysis and Reporting

· Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of manufacturing costs, production efficiency and operational performance across the Group’s manufacturing plants, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to identify key drivers of financial performance

· Analyse product profitability, pricing strategies and cost structures to optimise revenue and minimise cost

· Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial results and cost-efficiency

· Prepare detailed financial reports, variance analyses and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders

Performance Measurement

· Monitor and track key performance indicators (“KPIs”), evaluating operational efficiency, yield rates, inventory turnover and production cycle times etc, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains within manufacturing processes

· Work with the Business Intelligence team to develop performance measurement tools and dashboards for real-time tracking and reporting of performance of manufacturing plants

Capital Expenditure Analysis

· Evaluate financial justification for manufacturing-related capital projects and equipment investments

· Assess the return on investment (“ROI”) and payback period for capital expenditure proposals

Strategic Planning and Investment Evaluation

· Contribute financial insights to the development of the Group’s strategic plans by providing financial insights and analysis

· Evaluate investment opportunities, including new technologies, automation and process improvements, conducting detailed financial feasibility studies

Cost Management and Optimisation

· Analyse manufacturing and operational costs, identifying cost savings opportunities and optimising processes

· Implement cost control measures across manufacturing plants, ensuring alignment with industry best practices

Compliance and Risk Management

· Ensure that financial activities comply with relevant accounting standards, regulations and tax requirements

· Assist with internal and external audits as necessary

Experience

· Minimum 10 years of experience in audit, accounting, regional/group FP&A roles in progressive MNCs/large regional groups in manufacturing

· Strong cost accounting knowledge

· Strong analytical skills, including expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

· Strong command of the English language, able to read and converse in Mandarin with our China colleagues and the general ability to communicate clearly is essential

· High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations

· Able to lead and work across multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner, to implement applications and/or improve processes
