About the Role:

As a member of the Confluent Sales Team, the Commercial Account Executive is responsible for selling Confluent solutions into small and medium-sized enterprises in Singapore. We expect you to use your prospecting, sales, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively sell Confluent offerings into leading companies in order to meet and exceed your quarterly sales target. You must possess a "hunter/closer" mentality with a proven track record of success within a value-driven sales model.

What You Will Do:

• Works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory. Territory may be a combination of geographic, product, industry, and other customers/market dimensions
• Sells to the territory directly or via partners
• Manages accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborates with team members in business development, customer success, and support to uncover all customer needs
• Responsible for understanding product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the sale
• Travels to customer sites to identify/develop sales opportunities when required
• Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition
• Onsite customer presentation with C-levels (as required) to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals
• Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and maximizing sales
• Comfortable negotiating SaaS/cloud/software contracts

What You Will Bring:

• 3-5 years experience growing pipelines and selling enterprise IT solutions in the small and medium-sized enterprises in Singapore
• Experience progressing deals through the sales process to close
• Consistent track record of success and history of quota attainment in consultative sales environments
• Knowledge of Open Source, Big Data, Cloud, Systems Infrastructure, Enterprise Application Integration, Database and/or Data warehouse concepts and products advantageous
• Adept at using Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage accounts, contacts, and opportunities throughout the sales process
• Outstanding communication skills - written and oral including strong presentation skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• High integrity and self-driven
• Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview:

In this role, you will support our Services to plan and implement new initiatives and innovations as we drive the organisations Strategic Plan.

You will be involved to a great degree in understanding our Services needs and identify relevant strategies to raise the bar and efficacy of our Services through performance tracking and indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse data & generate reports to support decision-making processes.
• Provide insights & recommendations to senior management based on analysis findings.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes & systems to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Post-graduate degree or professional certification would be a plus.
• Min 5 years' experience in data management / analytics.

• Familiarity with data strategy / management.
• Good working knowledge of change management initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI & Tableau.

Main Purpose of the Job:

The Senior HR Executive is a senior-level role within the HR department, responsible for leading and managing HR operations, employee relations, compliance, payroll, talent management and talent acquisition. This position reports to the Assistant HR Manager.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

• Support the Senior People Services Manager in implementation of the people plan to include initiatives to drive engagement and improve retention.

• Support annual reward review and promotion process.

• Support the development and maintenance of HR Policies and processes.

• Advise employees on HR queries.

• Responsible in recruitment activities such as posting of job adverts, shortlisting suitable candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and making job offers.

• Provide support in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives including staff events.

• Update internal weekly announcement.

• Prepare confirmation letter, salary related letters and other letters.

• Ensure proper maintenance of employee records.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly HR metrics.

• Provide information required by Pursuit Team for bids.

• Assist in performance review exercise.

• Work with outsource payroll vendor to provide monthly payroll instructions and manage and execute the end-to-end payroll process, including data input and validation.

• Ensure correct data entry and calculations required for payroll processing.

• Handle payroll recharges between entities as and when necessary.

• Prepare timely payroll reports for regular reporting, internal and external audit.

• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience as an HR Generalist.
