Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Front of House (FOH):

• Supervise and lead FOH staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers, including dining areas and restrooms.
• Monitor inventory levels of FOH supplies and place orders as needed.

Back of House (BOH):

• Supervise and support BOH staff in food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to cafe recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including managing dishwashing and equipment cleaning.
• Monitor inventory levels of BOH supplies and place orders as needed.
• Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and equipment checks, reporting any issues to the Cafe Manager/Owner.

General Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Owner to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as necessary.
• Assist with planning and executing special events and promotions.
• Handle any other duties as assigned by the Owner to ensure the smooth operation of the cafe.
