• Align and develop application training plans with stakeholders in Global and APAC affiliates.

In this role, you will:

• Provide expertise knowledge of the products and application to provide a consultative scientific support including assist in product selection, experimental design and workflow optimization.
• Take ownership and drive improvement of technical support for pre- and post-sales including troubleshooting and simple data analysis on Roche products for affiliates and customers.
• Gather and deliver strategic and competitive feedback, communicating use cases to Global and Regional stakeholders.
• Coordinate and/or perform application training and demonstrations.
• Report to the Application Consulting Team Manager, Lab & C-Suite Value Stream.

Who you are:

• Experience in sequencing laboratory discipline is required including sample preparation, workflow and target capture.
• Experience in teamwork and project management in matrix organization, preferably a regional structure.

Qualification and Experience:

• Experience in Sequencing Lab is preferred.
• Ph.D or equivalent experience preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with at least 5 years lab experience in biochemistry, molecular biopsy, genetic biotechnology or appropriate biological or biomedical science field.
• Pactical application experience in providing applications trainings and support in experimental design, troubleshooting and NGS wet lab experience (library prep, PCR and target enrichment).
• Familiar with bioinformatics software, methodologies and NGS application in oncology.
• Solid commercial acumen which can be demonstrated by previous success in bringing the benefits of sales, marketing or operational experience to solve business issues or capitalize on market opportunities.

The Investment Management Team Malaysia is responsible for setting and managing Telenor’s owner strategy, governance, priorities, and activities for our investment in CelcomDigi and involvement in the country. It coordinates the dialog with representatives for our partner and the Management of CelcomDigi. The team is responsible for Telenor Asia’s country representation in Malaysia including coordination of key stakeholder engagement and communications activities.

In this role you will get a wide exposure to the Malaysian market and the telecom industry in the country. You will be a key team member in driving Telenor Group’s agenda in Malaysia and an advisor to the Telenor Asia Management and our nominated directors to CelcomDigi’s Board. As Vice President, Financial Performance, Investment Management, Malaysia you will have the following responsibilities:

• Maintain a multi-year ownership/value creating strategy for Telenor Asia’s interest in Malaysia, including periodic review and reporting.
• Monitor and independently evaluate the strategy, financial and business performance of CelcomDigi and provide advice to Telenor’s senior management and the Telenor nominated directors on the Board of CelcomDigi on current and forward-looking development.
• Develop and maintain the process of proactively evaluating performance results up against company strategy and Telenor’s ownership strategy and priorities. In addition, advise on potential improvement opportunities and risk.
• Proactively provide financial analysis, reports, advice/recommendations and initiate and facilitate discussions for Telenor Asia Management where advisory views are expected on a wider financial agenda beyond current performance, e.g., balance sheet optimization, P&L considerations, and risk.
• Organize and lead internal business reviews with Telenor Asia leadership in collaboration with key support functions in Telenor Asia. Coordinating activities towards key finance and controlling functions at Telenor Group HQ (Group Finance).
• Evaluate CelcomDigi investment proposals and advise Telenor nominated board of directors prior to approval in the board of directors.
• Contribute with analysis, position, and proposals to be used in the dialog with the partner. The role will be a key member in furthering the partner dialog.

We are looking for you who can relate to some of the following:

• Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent and minimum 8 to 10 years professional experience. Added advantage for experience in leadership role.
• Financial expertise, either with a controller, investment banking or private equity, management consulting or similar background.
• Strong understanding and experienced in building financial models for valuations and financial returns analysis.
• Telecom industry or operational telecom experience in relevant areas will be beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing – in English
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills and preferably working with or in joint ventures.
• An international orientation. Local market “know-how” will be considered beneficial.
