We are now looking for a qualified individual to join UOI as Senior Accounts Officer.
Responsibilities
- Compute and prepare statement of profit commission and XOL premium adjustments
- Prepare portfolio premium/loss entry and withdrawal
- Responsible for checking and following up on the outward treaty outstanding balances for collection or payment
- Manually input into the Treaty system premium reserves released/interest for treaties, Fire & Marine 1st Surplus, XOL MND premiums and XOL claim recovery
- Process documents relating to Outward Treaties, Commission Bordereau, Excess of Loss Treaty & Outward Transaction Checklist
- Process monthly/quarterly/yearly Treaty Statement List B (final) and ensure figures are correctly captured in the Treaty system
- Check GL Summary Listing for posting to SUNGL
- Update and age reinsurers’ outstanding balances monthly
- Prepare quarterly summary of premium reserve retained from reinsurers
- Update premium, commission and claim paid by treaty and reinsurers from Statement List B yearly
- Handle treaty payments/receipts
- Prepare quarterly treaty accounts closing with a summary of balances
- Prepare Form IR37 Section 45 Withholding Tax Return and payment to IRAS
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
