Position Objective
â—Ź To support the day-to-day operations of the uniform shop and book room
â—Ź To maintain inventory for the uniform shop and book room and replenish as needed
â—Ź Liaise with appointed uniform vendor on pre-order
Responsibilities
â—Ź Manage uniforms sales/returns and exchanges, assist with pre-order and coordinate with the appointed uniform
vendor on the delivery
â—Ź Coordinate on uniform repairs between parents and the appointed uniform vendor
â—Ź Supply of stock to the appointed uniform vendor from off-site storage
â—Ź Sale of sport gear
â—Ź Liaise with suppliers and vendors on purchase, re-order, re-works etc
â—Ź Submit daily sale report and ensure cash tallies with inventory sales
â—Ź Assist with the wrapping, coding and inventory of text books
â—Ź Coordinate with students and teachers on book issuances and purchase of new titles
â—Ź Follow-up on low book title inventory and outstanding books with teachers
â—Ź Carry out accurate stock-take of uniforms and book items
â—Ź Ad-hoc duties from time to time as assigned by immediate supervisor
The work requirements and time can be changed, replaced or added at any point to suit the school’s new requirements as it
is deemed necessary by the Uniform Shop Supervisor or Director of Facilities Management & Administration.
The job holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person’s for whom s/he is
responsible, or with who, s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita
Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all time. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the
job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he
must report any concerns to the School’s Child Protection Officer/Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head or indeed to
the Regional CEO so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third-party services.

Qualifications
â—Ź 2 years of relevant work experience in a retail environment
â—Ź Relevant experience in an international school environment is preferable
â—Ź Similar experience in retail management
