Job Purpose

The Senior Care Manager supports and works within Alexandra Hospital, and collaborates with community service providers, government agencies, and multi-disciplinary hospital and healthcare teams to provide coordination and continuity of patient care across the healthcare continuum; to support patients and their family members in navigating their healthcare journey with Alexandra Hospital within the Queenstown community.

Diagnostic Radiographers

Diagnostic radiographers work with sophisticated medical equipment and use a wide range of techniques to produce radiographic images of the human body to aid the healthcare team in diagnosing illness or injury. They manage the technology to produce, display, manipulate, transmit and archive radiographic images. The image data is processed using high-end systems to produce complex multi-planar and 3D reconstructions. They will have opportunities to work in specialised areas utilising state-of-the-art equipment such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional Radiography, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine. They also minimise radiation dose to patients, provide care and emotional support throughout the imaging procedures.

Upon graduation, you will join National Heart Centre of Singapore (NHCS) as a Radiographer.

Radiographer, Cardiac Radiology

The Department of Cardiac Radiology provides the patients of NHCS with diagnostic radiological imaging services and invasive cardiology procedure imaging services. Diagnostic radiological imaging includes general radiography, mobile radiography and CT scans. The CT team provides specialised Cardiac Scans for diagnostic, pre-procedural and surgical planning.

As part of the invasive cardiac angiography team, you will assist in procedures such as Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) at the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Hybrid Operating Theatre.

As a radiographer in Cardiac Radiology, you might be required to perform afternoon shift work as well asbe on-call for emergency cases on a rotational basis. You might also participate in patient feedback, as well as quality management initiatives and programmes.
