We are seeking a dynamic Communications Professional to join our team, focusing on advancing Singapore American School’s fundraising and alumni engagement efforts. This role will create compelling, donor-centric content across multiple platforms, supporting the school’s first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign. Working closely with the Advancement and Communications teams, the professional will craft impactful stories, manage multi-channel communications, and engage key stakeholders to inspire philanthropic support. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a deep understanding of donor motivations, and experience in nonprofit or advancement communications.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualizes, writes, and edits a variety of materials including, but not limited to, compelling and persuasive communications in support of the school’s fundraising and alumni engagement programs. Examples of such communications could include: impact-driven personalized major gift stewardship reports, collaterals to promote campaign gift priorities, annual giving appeals signed by school leaders, event invitations,, special publications, feature articles, website copy, blog posts, speaking notes for school leaders at events, multimedia scripts, social media posts, and others
• Work with content creators to create content across a variety of media
• Research content and gather information relating to assigned writing projects, which may include interviewing subject matter experts
• Fact-checks and proofreads written materials for sign-off by Chief Advancement Officer.
• Liaises with internal and external individuals, including donors, prospects, and alumni, to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of messaging and content in relevant communications programs.
• Develops and manages timelines and work plans for writing projects, ensuring multiple, overlapping deadlines are met.
• Problem-solving on writing-related projects, ensuring that all necessary factual material has been included in the written materials, and that feedback has been considered and incorporated into the final product while maintaining a focus on the audience’s needs.

• NITEC/ A Level / Diploma in SCM or Logistics – Minimum 1-2 years’ experience
• Knowledge in courier booking (Fedex, DHL & UPS)
• Familiarity with logistics and warehouse distribution preferred

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job duties and responsibilities

Market Development duties

• Develop a robust Go-to-Market strategy, build top-of-mind awareness of MWR products, identify business opportunities, and build a sound strategy to increase revenue and visitor ship to MWG parks.
• Initiate and negotiate sales and marketing collaboration with travel partners and non-travel trade partners to achieve organisational goals from the respective market.
• Establish and maintain excellent business relationships with local and overseas travel partners.
• Design products and packages with deep understanding of OTA and Wholesale.
• Develop and grow strong relationships with clients to achieve optimal satisfaction, engagement, and long-term commercial sustainability.
• Maintain account databases, update account records, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Administration duties

• Process onboarding and offboarding travel partners accurately and efficiently, includes collecting business registry document, creating customer order, preparing contract and providing system access.
• Collaborate with internal departments to execute procurement activities, covering sourcing, purchase order issuance and price negotiations in a timely and accurate manner and handle any stock management.
• Keep track on product information updates, product pricing, and dissemination of sales materials and promotion information to travel partners.
• Serve as the first point of contact for external inquiries, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs promptly via phone or email.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Tourism/ International Market / Hospitality industry.
• Experience in market insights, sales and analysis reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated with an analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to develop and deliver inspiring presentations.
• An independent team player who takes initiative, prompt and detailed-minded, adaptable in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Pleasant, friendly and warm disposition.
• Able to work on weekends and PH for familiarisation trip.

• Carry out planned inspection, maintenance & servicing of production machinery & equipment.
• Perform in-house troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls of fruits packing / packaging & food processing machinery & equipment including changing of parts.
• Independently find the best possible solutions to fix machinery / equipment breakdowns to minimize production lost time. Senior colleagues will be available for support when needed.
• Perform Calibration, Installation, Commissioning of new packing / packaging machinery / equipment
• Conduct proper technical & operation of machinery / equipment training to operators.
• Maintain machinery and equipment common spare parts inventory at a safety level.
• Keep track of maintenance service agreement renewal with customers
