About the role
This role is a critical individual contributor position focused on enhancing IT infrastructure by developing and implementing comprehensive governance and compliance strategies. Key responsibilities include:
- Regulatory Compliance and Best Practices: Ensuring our IT policies, standards, and procedures align with relevant regulations.
- Risk Management and Mitigation: Identifying, assessing, and analyzing compliance risks within ICT and data management practices, and formulating effective mitigation strategies.
- Operational Efficiency and Security: Monitoring adherence to IT procedures and protocols, documenting audit findings, and communicating areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engaging with senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and alignment in compliance efforts.
Skills and Experience Required
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CRISC are highly beneficial.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory policies and standards, including but not limited to ISO and IM8, with the ability to translate these frameworks into actionable strategies.
- Audit Experience: Proven experience in conducting thorough ICT and data management compliance audits.
- Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented and skilled in analyzing complex problems, developing effective strategies, and implementing solutions.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and driving initiatives to completion within tight deadlines
