The dormitory supervisor resides in the program’s summer dormitory, monitors program participants in the evening and overnight, and provides supervision on program field trips. The dormitory supervisor also supervises the residential staff and program tutors, who are primarily undergraduate students, and serves as a liaison between the Upward Bound staff and staff from Boston University's Office of Residence Life and Office of Residential Safety. The dormitory supervisor also helps with delivering tutor training. Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain the company's accounts – accounts receivables, accounts payables, reconciliations, and invoicing.
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
3. Update account schedule periodically and conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements.
4. Prepare GST filing and submit it to IRAS accurately and timely.
5. Prepare tax returns for the company and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
6. Ensure salary, CPF, and Workers' Levy are paid accurately and timely.
7. Prepare itemized payroll slips for employees on time.
8. Conduct stock take and ensure the inventory is correctly recorded.
9. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries accurately.
10. Ensure the accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
11. Take up additional admin duties to support the company's operations.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Finance or Accountancy with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience.
2. Sound analytical and meticulous in numbers.
3. Good communication skills in both English and Chinese are essential, as this position requires communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
4. Sound interpersonal skills and enjoy teamwork.
5. Ability to work independently with solid accountability.
6. Proficient in computer skills and high efficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Xero Accounting Software.

Human Resources

• Handle recruitment process such as posting advertisement, phone screening for shortlisting, arranging interview, employment contracts and etc aligned with local regulations, Company policies and procedures.

• Monitor the implementation of HR policies and procedures followed by managers and staff.

• Manage the work pass applications (WP/EP) and status including monitor of the expiry dates.

• Prepare confirmation letters, and monitor contract expiry for renewals.

• Update and manage employee records.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Administrative

• Oversee all administrative tasks in the office compliance with Morimatsu established policies and procedures and Singapore’s legal, fiscal and statutory requirements.

• Assist in securing necessary permits for Singapore office, staff and consultants, as required.

• Acquire and maintain office furnishing, equipment and supplies, and provides administrative support for the maintenance of the telephone, communication and computing system.

• Provide administrative support for directors/managers such as meeting scheduling and travel arrangements

Required Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources.

• 3-4 years working experience in a similar capacity.
