The role will primarily involve hunting, winning, and acquiring new business and customers for the organisation, lead the engagement and grow assigned customers, lead, and prepare customer quotations and proposals, increase the organization's revenue, volumes and gross profit, execute business development strategies and tactics, and assist management and leadership in the formulation of sales planning, tactics and strategies when required.

Primary Functions

Job Requirements:

• Degree level or equivalent / diploma

• Certification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain would be an added advantage

• Min. 5 years in a customer facing role in freight forwarding, shipping line, air cargo, logistics, supply chain or similar industries, in the roles of business development, sales, commercial, operations or customer service.

• Pure hunting role. Working knowledge of freight forwarding and/or logistics related operations and selling process is a MUST.
