Your responsibilities as a Salvage Engineer

• As part of the mobile team, provide support to the Salvage Master/Project Manager at site.
• When at base, assisting the technical manager and the operations manager in the selection of new salvage equipment and setting up the right maintenance procedures.
• Maintaining company owned salvage equipment.
• Sharing knowledge with other engineers about complex ship's systems.
• Advising the salvage inspector and superintendent about how to break into existing ship's systems in order to use them during the salvage operation.
• Producing reports about the actions taken to get systems operational again. As you can expect from a leading international maritime service company, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment.

Your qualities
To make your mark as a salvage engineer with SMIT Salvage, you will need a flexible approach; you never know when or where your next project will be. You adapt easily to working with different teams and you are fully proficient in English. Of course, you are happy to work irregular hours and to spend longer periods of time abroad. In addition, you have:

• A minimum degree in any field with experience sailing onboard ships.
• Worked for at least 5 years on modern (merchant) ships.
• Preferably experience with a range of different types of vessels and engine-room plants.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays frequently, with OT and allowances compensated.

MISSION AND RESPONSABILITIES:

The Retail Executive at Guerlain plays a crucial role in supporting the Area Manager and Retail Manager in various operational, reporting, and administrative tasks. This position ensures the smooth functioning of retail operations, product launches, promotions, compliance, and onboarding processes across all doors (stores).

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting and Analysis:

• • Generate weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Support the Area Manager in ensuring accurate sell-in of products to all doors.

Promotions and Events:

• • Assist the Area Manager in coordinating promotions with departmental stores.

Procurement and Non-Sellable:

• • Ensure all Purchase Orders (POs) are raised timely.
  • Track and manage the budget for non-sellable items, ensuring delivery to stores according to budget.

Stock Management:

• • Support the BTQ team during stock counts to ensure accurate inventory management.

Onboarding Process:

• • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure new hire accounts are created.
  • Work with the IT department to create sales and service codes for new hires.

Administrative Duties:

• • Station at the BTQ two times a week for administrative tasks.
  • Support the Retail Manager during yearly kick-offs and sales cycles.
  • Assist in team-building sessions.

7. Skilled in scrum agile management of development team, including writing user story, assigning story points, tracking backlog and burndown each sprint

8. Familiar with Atlassian suite (ie. JIRA, confluence) to accomplish tasks above, and able to learn new tools along the way for any new team working tools

About the role  

We are looking for an experienced APAC Intelligence Analyst, to join our team, embedded in our client’s Risk & Intelligence function. Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for researching, analysing, and building products to assess risks and opportunities around the client’s people, operations, strategy, and brand reputation. You will be an intelligence practitioner who has a passion for analysis, problem-solving, advising and informing decision-makers.

• Managing day to day work assignment to the other site supervisory staff (Site technical officers) and maintain records of their deployment.
• Provide Administrative support on all matters related to the project including processing of monthly progress claim payment and attending meetings.
• Prepare the operations plan (template of which will be provided by the Board later) to facilitate the shutdown of watermains for connection of the newly laid watermains and capping of the watermains to be abandoned. • Work closely with the STO to verify the final as-built submission by the appointed third-party Contractor to ensure that the pipe alignment corresponds to the site alignment
• Assist in monitoring all the required documents submission – to facilitate the handover of the complete rectification works, that are carried out by the appointed third-party Contractor.

Main objective of the position

In this role, the POSM Procurement Specialist will be part of a vibrant LVMH Fragrances & Cosmetics Singapore Logistics Team who is responsible for the success of the downstream supply chain. In this role, she/he will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in the on-the-ground operations critical to order fulfilment and be given the responsibility to tackle dynamic POSM procurement issues that would elevate critical and creative thinking.

Internally, the POSM Procurement Specialist works closely with HQ Purchasing & Procurement teams based in France, Supply Planners, Customer Service, Inventory and Logistics teams based in Singapore to consolidate information, coordinate, and align actions, challenge the different parties, and raise alerts whenever necessary. She/He reports to the Product Configuration Assistant Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Be responsible for the sourcing, procurement, integration of the new articles in our system and stock management to ensure product availability

• Set up and update master data required for production in our ERP
• Follow the process of new product launch with HQ
• Launch and track orders according to agreed lead time with our Asians suppliers.
• Manage the relationship with the suppliers and negotiate with them to get products on time (advancement or postponement)
• Act as a liaison between HQ purchasing and procurement teams and suppliers to ensure worldwide consistency of orders

1. Guarantee an optimum level of service to the markets for Merchandising references

• Communicate needs projection to suppliers on a monthly basis
• Analyze reporting alerts and launch corrective actions
• Escalate accurate and timely information to Supply Planning regarding availability or risks
• Manage changes in requirements (in collaboration with the Business Demand Manager in Singapore to get feedback on market requirements)
• Raise alert to HQ or to Supply Planning team when it is necessary and provide detailed analysis of the situation and risks (out of stock risk or overstock risk)
