What’s it all about?

The Escalations and Compliance Manager is a key part of Currencycloud's second line compliance function, reporting directly into the Head of Compliance APAC. The Escalations and Compliance Manager will be the primary escalation point for high-risk clients and transactions, as well as making risk appetite decisions impacting Currencycloud in the APAC region. They will work closely with colleagues in the first line of defence to provide coaching and guidance to junior team members, as well as supporting projects that enhance Currencycloud’s financial crime control framework.

What we expect of you, day to day:

• Make judgements on escalations from compliance operations teams such as sanctions alerts, other high risk transactions and applications involving politically exposed persons. 
• Where necessary, schedule sessions to present specific cases to senior stakeholders such as the Head of Compliance APAC. 
• Deliver formal and informal training on corner cases, changes in risk appetite, and new policies/procedures to the compliance operations team. 
• Provide regular coaching and guidance to junior team members on specific cases that have been escalated. 
• Build and maintain relationships with the go to market organisation to understand emerging opportunities and market developments that may requires changes to Currencycloud’s financial crime control framework.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the overall financial crime framework by identifying new typologies and potential gaps in existing policies and procedures. 
• Support the Head of Compliance APAC in updating existing policy documents completing the annual risk assessment.
• Support the Head of Compliance APAC on projects to enhance Currencycloud’s financial crime framework, including new processes and system implementation. 
• Maintain an excellent technical knowledge of financial crime regulations, keeping up to speed with new developments and the latest regulatory positions of key markets that Currencycloud operates in.
• Be aware of changes in the wider business (products, jurisdictions etc.) and how these may impact the compliance operations team.

The Receptionist/Concierge is responsible for the good management of the appointment bookings, whilst supporting the collection of data and consolidation of reports. He/she is responsible for generating sales opportunities through a variety of techniques, develops and attains guest experience in the Spa and sells products and services offered by the spa. He/she is expected to maintain guests’ confidentiality and adhere to the PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) policy.

Primary Responsibilities

Administrative Duties and Inventory Management

• Light administrative and clerical duties, such as updating guest profile, updating treatment usage in the system, sales report, filing and data entry.
• Assists Spa Managers in maintaining a good level of spa collaterals and printing materials such as guest profile folder and consultation cards.

General Housekeeping and Maintenance

• Ensures the general cleanliness of the reception area, lounge and retail area.
• Ensures the diffuser burner is lit at all times at the reception, lounge and retail area.
• Replenishes all writing materials and marketing collaterals at the reception.
• Reports to Spa Manager on any defects of spa facilities and equipments.
• Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Training

• Attends all training courses as deemed necessary, and adheres to training as set by the Spa Manager.

This position is responsible for reporting and reconciling our E-Store accounts on a worldwide basis.  This involves working with very large Excel spreadsheets, so excel experience is required, with V-Look up skills. Ensures timely and accurate reconciliations and cash postings.  Assists in the generation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting reports.  Creates and posts journal entries.  Ensures month end / quarter end close deadlines are met.

About the Job

To provide essential support in monitoring and maintaining the health of the network infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities:

A) Monitor systems performance

Responsibilities:

• To evaluate and analyse the contractor’s proposed baseline master programme to identify gaps and weaknesses in the proposed programme, and to manage and track the approved master program for the Project in consultation with client and the consultants.
• To manage and assess the design development works prepared by the consultants and contractors including but not limited to checking of shop drawings, sample approvals, mock-up approvals, etc.
• To evaluate and assess contractor’s construction methodology and method statements for adequacy and completeness.
• To monitor the authority submissions and approvals by the consultants and contractors, to meet the timeline specified in the master program.
• To work closely with the QS and evaluate claims submitted for interim payments, and all other loss and expenses claims, if any.
• To resolve discrepancies or technical conflicts, which may arise among consultants, stakeholders and contractors, while carrying out the works for the Project.
• To monitor correspondences and submissions and highlight any invalid claim and/or incorrect facts made against client by the contractors, the consultants and any other party involved in the Project.
• To provide overall coordination/liaison and interface with all contractors, consultants, authorities, services providers, client, and any other party involved in the Project.
• To manage the post construction activities, such as testing and commissioning, as-built documentation, defect liability monitoring, account finalisation.
• To assist in the management of the key milestones and deliverables of the project.
• To liaise and follow up with all stakeholders involved in the projects to ensure deliverables are achieved according to schedules.
• To set agenda, schedule meetings and arrange attendance of required stakeholders and project team members.
• To prepare, submit and present project status and outstanding matters related to his role and responsibilities.
